Very helpful staff. Was looking for any wheated bourbons that I hadn't tried and they turned me on to a local Statesville, NC brand. Southern Star Paragon bottled in bond. The had a sign as the Weller killer so that is what I opened first. Believe me, I have the collection so a blind test is upcoming. Also picked up Bardstown Origin series and Wyoming Whiskey Small Batch Bourbon so gonna be a good weekend of taste testing.
I would rate this similar to Green River Wheated. What was lacking on the nose, it had a good caramel flavor with suttle vanilla finish. For the 100 proof the finish was surprisingly light. Not a Weller killer but definitely one I would purchase again. Nice job Southern Distilling.

I was really surprised at the large selection they had there, plus I love the hours that were a little bit earlier than the other ABC stores in town, it helps if you're out and about early in the morning get this one Erin knocked off your list. I would highly recommend to stop by there
