I had a great experience with Ace Handyman Services Lake Norman…. Their customer service was able to send me an estimate and get me on their schedule within a week’s time. I needed some cabinetry modifications for new appliances. Carl, our craftsman arrived on time and did an excellent job! I would highly recommend their services.

Andy and Nathan showed up when they were scheduled and were ready to work. I explained the things I needed done and they quickly made a plan, got the materials and did the fixes. The work done looks impeccable and were very happy with the work. We will for sure be reaching out again for other projects!

2026-April Second time using this service. Second time extremely happy. The job was installing 3 grab bars in my master bath shower through tile. Paul M the installer was knowledgeable, friendly, experienced and considerate of hourly time charges. I felt work was.high quality and at a reasonable competitive price. The organisation is covered by insurance if the damage your property or they got hurt on our property. Give them a try! Chris was a experienced handyman who got the job done right the first time. Fast and efficient and a pleasure to work with. Will use him again. Projects were dryer vent cleaning, filter replacements, and light fixture installation.

I engaged a contractor for a door installation to access my attic, initially drawn by their exceptional customer service and simple booking process. While the contractor was personable and maintained good communication, the execution of the work fell short of expectations, especially when considering the price. Before deciding, I had obtained multiple quotes from various contractors, all suggesting that the job should take approximately 4 hours and cost around $800. However, this project ended up stretching to 6 hours, with the final cost exceeding $1000. This overrun seemed to stem from the contractor's difficulty with the task, evident from the need to repeatedly cut and recut the door, which still resulted in a subpar finish. The significant deviation from the estimated time and cost leads me to believe that the job's challenges were likely due to the contractor's lack of skill. Despite the contractor's friendly demeanor, the disparity between the high-quality customer service during the booking phase and the poor craftsmanship of the actual work was stark. Ultimately, the outcome was unsatisfactory, and the work did not justify the extended time and increased expense.

Andy with Ace Handyman Service was good to come out in icy weather to fix a gas leak in my fireplace heater. I'm grateful that he was able to come immediately. Andy fixed my gas fireplace & I am able to use it if needed. Thank you !
