I had a great experience with Ace Handyman Services Lake Norman…. Their customer service was able to send me an estimate and get me on their schedule within a week’s time. I needed some cabinetry modifications for new appliances. Carl, our craftsman arrived on time and did an excellent job! I would highly recommend their services.

Andy with Ace Handyman Service was good to come out in icy weather to fix a gas leak in my fireplace heater. I'm grateful that he was able to come immediately.
Andy fixed my gas fireplace & I am able to use it if needed. Thank you !

A screened-in porch door needed repair or replacement. We tried to contact several local handyman services. Only one got back to us. He was unable to even look at the job for weeks. The rates were exorbitant. Ace Handyman got back to us immediately. They were friendly and very helpful/communicative regarding scheduling and the job details. They were able to come by and look at the work in a day.
Mark was personable, professional, and very knowledgeable. He gave us many good options and some great advice. The work was done within the prescribed timeframe and looks great.

I engaged a contractor for a door installation to access my attic, initially drawn by their exceptional customer service and simple booking process. While the contractor was personable and maintained good communication, the execution of the work fell short of expectations, especially when considering the price.
Before deciding, I had obtained multiple quotes from various contractors, all suggesting that the job should take approximately 4 hours and cost around $800. However, this project ended up stretching to 6 hours, with the final cost exceeding $1000. This overrun seemed to stem from the contractor's difficulty with the task, evident from the need to repeatedly cut and recut the door, which still resulted in a subpar finish.
The significant deviation from the estimated time and cost leads me to believe that the job's challenges were likely due to the contractor's lack of skill. Despite the contractor's friendly demeanor, the disparity between the high-quality customer service during the booking phase and the poor craftsmanship of the actual work was stark. Ultimately, the outcome was unsatisfactory, and the work did not justify the extended time and increased expense.

Andy did a great job working on my window screen. It looks much better now. I plan on calling him back for some small repairs around the house.
