I’ve had better experiences with a used car salesman than with this firm. On my day of meditation the attorney came in and told me 1st thing that she had a hard stop at 3pm to take her kid to swimming practice. On one of the hardest days someone could ever go through, I was left to fend for myself. I spent the last four hours of mediation by myself with no representation other than I was told if I have any questions I can call her on the phone ( and I bet I was still being charged an egregious hourly amount on my dime so the Attorney could be at her child’s swim lesson ). This automatically tells me I never had a chance in mediation because the attorney was already checked out mentally as soon as she came in as she was just waiting for 3 o’clock so she could leave. After struggling with this for quite a few months, I decided to reach out to the owner Chris Atkins. He was referred to me personally from a very dear friend of mine who has known Chris for a long time from the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department. On March 4, 2026 I left Mr. Atkins a voicemail to call me so we could discuss some things before I gave them final payment . He texted me at 9:04pm on March 4, 2026 stating he could call me at 2:30 or 4:30 PM on March 5, 2026 I agreed to the 2:30 PM phone call on March 5, 2026. At 2:38 PM, He still had not called me so I decided to pick up the phone to try to call him. To no real surprise, He did not answer the phone, and never bothered to call me back. This firm is a perfect example of why nobody like attorneys. I was treated nothing more than a cash cow to squeeze me for every nickel they humanly could without actually caring about my case.

I switched to Adkins Law during my child custody case because I felt my previous attorney was not acting in my best interest. It was the best decision I could have made. Regina got the process started immediately and kept me informed about everything taking place with the case. The entire office was always very responsive whenever I reached out throughout the process, which was incredibly important to me. 5 star for Regina Williams and the team at Adkins Law. Attorney Regina Williams assisted me with a legal issue caused by a previous attorney of mine. Regina was able to do what my prior attorney couldn’t. Plus she was able to get it done in a very short period of time. Word of advice to you all.
