AFC Urgent Care Mooresville, NC

Noticed a cut in my finger had become infected. After waiting a short time, I was seen by Dr. Paul. He was kind, professional efficient, engaging and knew I wanted to get out of there on a Saturday afternoon….and was quick. I really appreciated that and his care. The protocol he prescribed worked quickly and effectively, and I am happy to say my infection is almost completely cleared up! Overall, I had a very positive experience.

I had a great experience at this urgent care. Amanda Coble, FNP, was quick, efficient, and very kind during my visit. She made the process smooth while still taking the time to address my concerns. Courtney, the PRC, was very helpful with the check-in process and made everything easy from the start. In the back, Jess and Lera, the medical assistants, were both friendly and easy to talk to, which really helped me feel comfortable. I also appreciated Angela, the center administrator, who was very personable and checked in with me as I was leaving to make sure I didn’t need anything additional. Overall, the team was professional, efficient, and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this urgent care to others.

Was busy when I arrive so that’s why the 4 instead of 5 star but everything was terrific. My nurse, Angela A. was so kind and answered all my questions. She is a great asset and representative of what every health care provider should be. I am a chiropractic physician and see about 100 patients a week and will pass on my good experience to my patients. Pay Angela well Finding good people is difficult enough. When you find a gem you gotta keep em!

Second time here and wonderful experience. Staff so friendly. The wait was longer than first time. But the staff was very apologetic. Both times we felt cared for seen. I needed a larger pair of crutches and they went to Huntersville location to get them for me. I was in a lot of pain and I felt better just because of the kindness and compassion of staff. I would recommend this urgent care to anyone.

After not feeling well for a couple of days, I decided to go to Urgent Care for a diagnosis. Being fairly new to the area, I googled Urgent care near me. I decided on AFC because of location, and more importantly, timeliness. The next available appointment was in less than an hour. Perfect. Select, submit, and fill out all necessary paperwork including photo ID, and medical cards. Easy! I arrived for my scheduled appointment on time. There were two people in the waiting room. I check in and take a seat. This is where the frustration starts. It was an hour before I was called to be seen. I understand they were busy. Don't post available appointment times, if they are not accurate. I did have a mask on, but I was diagnosed flu positive. I sat in the waiting room for an hour coughing. Once inside, the nurse taking care of me was extremely pleasant, sweet, and apologetic. She did inform me that I would still have a bit of a wait as they were very busy. She also came back after half and hour to inform me there were still two patients ahead of me. She offered to put me in que for a telehealth doctor. I decided to wait, which was probably another half hour. Total time at AFC Urgent care, 2 hrs. I'm not going to blame the staff as they were doing the best under the circumstances. They should have had another Doctor on hand to help. Would I return, probably not.
