So I’ve been to this theater several times mainly on the weekends and typically I don’t run into problems, but I came on a Tuesday and this time it was different.6 It started off when the popcorn machine ran out of butter And when I told one of the employees, she seemed very frustrated at the fact that she had to change the butter, but everybody has a bad day, so I ignored it. We went to see homemaker. The 545 showing, at the very beginning of the movie the volume was very low, so I got up, went to the person Checking the tickets (His name was Logan from what another employee Told me) I informed him that there was a volume issue, and he very dismissively told me I needed to go to guest services, I went to guest services, and there was nobody up there, so I moved around to the side, saw someone sitting in the office and Informed them of the issue. They didn’t even get up out of their seat, I had to yell the issue from the counter into the office and the only thing he did was hold up at empty name tag and said he couldn’t help me. So I went back to Logan and told him that there was nobody there to help me, and he shrugged me off, Then I asked him is there anyone else that I could speak to, he rolled his eyes and said “I don’t know I’m just an employee” And I said yes, so that means it’s your job to help your customer right? He got an attitude and didn’t even respond and started mocking me as I walked away, I asked another employee about it, he was not rude, but he obviously didn’t care. So I gave up, walked back to the theater and told myself I probably won’t be coming back again. The whole atmosphere there with the employees was as if they really did not want to be there and they could care less. It was so unprofessional. The only professional person was a young lady when we walked out. She had a bunch of tattoos, she at least said y’all have a great night. That was about as much hospitality as we experienced this whole trip. I’m very disappointed and I will be reaching out to corporate about this.

The most satisfying theater for a moviegoing experience currently in the Lake Norman area! The best, most comfortable recliners ever! Admission is reasonably priced and doesn't fluctuate based on time and demand like other theaters in the area have started doing. The lobby is nostalgic & delightful, painted in welcoming shades of white & lime green. The staff are truly amazing & super polite! Concessions options could be improved, but I always recommend the pizza & you can never go wrong with a popcorn and fountain soda of course. Snacks are pricy, but that's typical since that's how movie theaters make most of their money because a large percentage of tickets sales go back to the movie studios. This is the only theater in the area that remained open during the entirety of C*v*d - staying ahead of the game by putting in the most comfortable reclining seats just ahead of 2020. Major props to the management & employees for keeping this theater up to date, cleanly & maintained. I always recommend AmStar Mooresville now over other theaters in the area that are more expensive & have worse amenities, making for a lackluster experience.

I had the worst concession service I’ve ever experienced at a movie theater. We ordered popcorn at the concession stand, and the attendant handed us a bucket to fill from the popcorn dispenser. After noticing that the popcorn in the dispenser was cold and a bit stale, I politely asked if we could have some of the freshly popped popcorn that was being made behind the counter. The attendant told us it was company policy that customers could not receive freshly popped popcorn and instead had to take the popcorn from the dispenser. I asked to speak with the manager, Jordan, but she doubled down on the policy, insisting that everyone had to use the dispenser and that they could not provide the fresh popcorn. She also claimed the popcorn wasn’t old because they regularly dump new popcorn into the dispenser. This was around 6:00 p.m. on a Tuesday, and the theater was nearly empty. There was no line behind us or at the concession stand, so there was no operational reason for denying the request. I then asked for the corporate customer service number because I wanted clarification on this supposed policy requiring customers to accept cold, stale popcorn instead of freshly made popcorn they are paying for. I spoke with Robin in guest services, who was polite, understanding, and professional. She listened to my concerns, accepted my complaint. Ironically, when I returned to the concession stand, another attendant apologized for the manager’s rude behavior and gladly filled my bucket with freshly popped popcorn without any issue. The excellent customer service from that employee only highlighted how unnecessary and disappointing my interaction with the manager had been. Again, disappointed in the management at this location.

For once the volume was good, not too loud. Like that you can order tickets in advance on line and discount available for seniors. Small theaters but ample seating. Need more lighting to see seat/ row numbers and to avoid walking into a patrons raised footrest

My grandmother who brings a water bottle with her everywhere because she drinks a specific type of liquid, walked into the line to get popcorn. When the person serving her asked if she wanted a drink she told him she had her own water bottle and he said sounds good. The second we go to scan our tickets two younger girls told her she cannot bring her waterbottle in. My grandmother emptied the bottle infront of them because they asked what was in it. She did it so they wouldn’t think she was drinking any beverage other than her liquid and they told her she cannot enter the movie room. They proceeded to tell everyone she was “sneaking in a waterbottle” when she had it in her hand the whole time. My grandmother went anyways because it was only a waterbottle. Once we left the theater the younger girls stood there laughing while police officers approached my grandmother. They were disrespectful laughing and turning around to smirk at my grandmother speaking to the officers about how she NEEDS her liquid she drinks because normal water bothers her. The young girls wouldn’t show there name tags so I’m reviewing on here. They have banned her from a theater because of a waterbottle. Me and my grandmother go to this theater all the time and I am so upset for her to be laughed at and embarrassed in a theater over a now empty waterbottle.
