Ted was a fantastic GC to work with, and his son Garrett kept daily operations running smoothly from start to finish. They communicated clearly, stayed on schedule, and delivered quality craftsmanship in every detail. Our home feels completely transformed, and the final result is even better than we imagined. Our company hired Ted and NC Storm Repair to assist us with a project where our patient suffered a catastrophic injury and we needed to modify the kitchen, bathroom, driveway, and provide assistive/smart technologies throughout the home. Ted did a great job of creating timelines and expectations for the project. He build a strong rapport with the injured worker and his wife. The quality of the work was excellent as well. Just finished a complete bathroom renovation using Authentic Construction. What a great company to work with. Work was exceptional. Crews showed up on time, worked hard and cleaned up after themselves each day. Cost was very competitive and they were very flexible when I had a change order. Will be using them in the future for other projects.

We had a great experience during a large, 3 bathroom remodel process. I had just finished another large construction project with a different, difficult-to-work-with contractor, so I had a lot of anxiety and dread starting another large project. Ted & Garrett were a breath of fresh air — they were very responsive, communicative, responsible and easy to work with. Their tilers, construction crew, electrician, countertop and glass installers were excellent and very respectful of my property. The team was great about pointing out anything that they discovered along the way and then helping me decide on the best course of action by giving me a couple of options to pursue (thankfully, not much came up.) Ted and his team are great problem solvers, and they take pride in their work. I have very high standards, and the team met them.

They hit every deadline, and communicated the whole way. They worked hard to make sure everything was completed the way we wanted. They went above and beyond to make sure every last detail was hit. They took a lot of pride knowing our family was moving back into this house to make sure it was ready for our two young boys. I cannot say enough about this team. I will use them for any project I have going forward. Our house is beautiful, and could not have asked for a better experience working with a contractor.
