I can’t say enough good things about Diane and John. From my initial outreach, Diane responded quickly and thoroughly, answering all my questions with patience and clarity. We were able to schedule our first appointment within a week, and they have been very flexible with scheduling our sessions. What truly stands is their ongoing support. Training doesn’t end when the session is over, and they clearly understand that. My text messages are typically returned the same day (often within hours), and they are happy to clarify next steps or provide additional resources. They check in proactively, celebrate our progress, and offer reassurance when things feel challenging. Their communication style is professional yet warm, making it easy to be honest about struggles without feeling judged. They truly feel like part of the family (Aunt Diane and Uncle John!). That level of accessibility and encouragement makes a huge difference in our confidence and consistency at home. Diane and John are helping our puppy coexist with our 12-year-old Shih Tzu. We recently adopted a 4 month old puppy named Sasha. We were looking for training and Diane and John came highly recommended by others that had used them for their pets. We love their approach and it has been very effective with Sasha even after just a few weeks. They are great at helping with ANY questions that come up anytime and with a puppy questions come up a lot. We recently rescued a puppy from the local humane society and wanted to train her more effectively than our previous dogs. I was skeptical of Bark Busters when my wife found them, but we gave them a try. When Diane and John showed up they spent 3 hours laying the groundwork for our training sessions. They explained the basis for our little girls behaviors with videos, an interactive presentation, and demonstrated immediate behavior modification tactics that seemed straight out of the show "The dog whisperer". They were friendly, encouraging, and effective from the moment we began with them. We love that they are showing us how to train our dog while helping us become comfortable with how much freedom we want to give her. Beyond their training effectiveness Diane and John are fantastic people who truly care about the people and animals they serve. When you meet them you can just tell they are good people, with good intentions, who are good at what they do. They treat my dog, my kids, and my wife and I like we are extensions of their family which is more than a person could ask for. Worked with John and Diane over the last 5 years now. They are incredible! We had several challenges with our 75lb Australian Shepherd. They worked patiently with us and Louie to get him to work within our family of 5. Without John and Diane we probably would have had to rehome Louie.
