Bavarian Kitchen

My husband and I tried this place for the very first time last night and I could not wait to do a review! What a gem this place is! First and foremost this has to be one of the cleanest and well organized restaurants I have ever been in; it was evident that the owner takes pride in the atmosphere provided to the customer. The wait staff… incredible. I wish I could remember the name of our waitress but I’ve slept since then 😂; she was awesome. The food.. EXCELLENT! The side salad was an amazing surprise and our entrees were to die for. If you are sleeping on German food don’t, go try it, you won’t be disappointed. We will definitely be back.

Hubby German and always looking for a good German food restaurant. Found this spot while traveling in NC. Stopped in for lunch. Restaurant tucked off Main St in the back of a parking lot. When you walk in you are hit with beautiful wood tables and chairs, a beautiful bar with wooden bar stools engraved in the backside. Very authentic. All German decor. Lunch menu was brief but well rounded! Lots of German beers! Service was wonderful and not rushed, thank you!! Orders were taken, our server answered all of our questions without hesitation. She also describe an item as to make sure we knew what it was and not disappointed when the plate was served. Drinks were served and lunch came out, again not rushed in any way. The soccer tournaments played on the tv in the background. Our food was spot on! The pork sandwich had a mild but wonderful light beer sauce. The amount of pork on the sandwich had to be close to one pound! The “meatloaf” sandwich which was pork not beef was totally enjoyed. At noon there were about 8-9 tables seated. Although tables were close no conversation could be overheard. We will travel back at a later date to try dinner. What a great find!!!

We wanted somewhere special to eat for mom's 70th birthday and decided on the Bavarian Kitchen. We drove an hour and 15mins to eat here and we were not disappointed. We loved how the restaurant was decorated, the atmosphere, the staff was wonderful, and the food was excellent. Besides all of that the owners and their young daughter came to the table and sang Happy Birthday to mom in German!!! Amazing... so special and thoughtful!!! They just made us feel like family!!! We recommend this restaurant and we will be back to eat here again!!!

After years of searching for a real German restaurant in NC we finally found this wonder gem. The food is plentiful, fairly priced and house made. If anything there wasn't house made i would be shocked as everything was of the highest quality. My whole party left full happy and had plenty of leftovers for another great meal. We made the 90 min drive for a mothers day meal but we are already planning our next trip. My advice, if you're ordering a draft beer, go ahead and trust your gut and get the large.

Make a reservation in advance, and expect authentic, delicious Bavarian dishes! We've been to Austria and Germany, amd are super blessed to be able to get our favs in a short drive from pir house. We'll done! Staff are friendly, and really care about their atmosphere and product, and you will hear the hand pounding if schnitzel coming from the kitchen, which is not a bad thing at all! Order a German on-tap beer and let the anticipation build for delicious food.
