I visited this newly renovated park today with a mommy group, and it was such a great experience! We had a group of eight toddlers (all five and under), and the space was safe for them. This space is well suited for 6+ year old. The playground is fully enclosed, which gave us peace of mind, and there was plenty of room for the kids to play both inside the structure and around it. The zip line swing was definitely the biggest hit—there was usually a bit of a line, but everyone was patient and mindful. There’s also a music station and a smaller section designed for crawlers/littles. The music station seems geared toward slightly older kids, even though it’s located near the toddler area. One thing to note—there’s only one picnic table inside the playground enclosure. We happened to snag it and it was nicely shaded, but others made it work picnic-style on the ground or nearby benches. The park overall is very active, with people walking and exercising. There’s a path that loops around for scooters or small bikes, which is a nice bonus for older kids. Parking was easy and plentiful. I didn’t check out the restroom situation, so can’t speak to that. Overall, I’d definitely recommend checking this park out! 😊

They have done a marvelous job renovating this playground to an all inclusive experience for all children. The artificial grass is a nice touch. There is a bocce field with covered benches. There is a baseball field and a track with exercise pit stops. The parking is extremely tight, especially when you have kids. And it’s limited. Some people made their own parking spots in the grass. There is a library box with books to read to the kiddos.

Freshly renovated and thoughtfully designed, Bellingham Park is a standout playground in the Lake Norman area. The fully fenced layout, soft turf surface, and dedicated toddler space make it especially parent-friendly. Unique features like the long zip lines and 360 slide keep kids engaged longer than most parks. Seating and layout are well done, though shade may be limited during hotter months. A great mix of play space and open areas nearby makes this park worth visiting regularly.

After the renovations done to the playground, especially the zip lines addition. This is an amazing playground and park to take your kids to. I also really love the Gated playground. And the turf is a 1000% upgrade, just wish there was better shading on the really hot days. Definitely love taking my kiddos here to play.
