Look here’s the thing. I’ve been here a few times for my makeup and they always do an awesome job. It’s so pretty and same with my hair. I always tip generously and I’m courteous. But I feel a bit judged each time I come in like I’m not welcome. Obviously we’re there for a minute to relax and feel beautiful as well as our service and this is never how it feels. I just called after speaking with them this morning (no response) and they called me the wrong name and told me that they wouldn’t be able to do a fairly basic makeup look. It just would be added colored eye shadow for a concert. I think it would have been more appropriate to say that they didn’t want to do it not that they couldn’t. I’m just a person and treating me like you have no respect is just rude to be honest. It’s such a shame because you do an excellent job.

I was here on Saturday, April 25th to get an updo for prom. The hairstyle turned out amazing and I was so happy with it, my stylist was nice and was very driven to make sure that I was happy with how it looked and offered multiple options/ideas for how to style it. I have naturally 3A curly hair, however it is somewhat thin and damages easily which is why I take a lot of precautions especially when it comes to heating my hair, I forgot to mention this to my hair stylist, who decided to use a curler for more uniform coils, however I assumed it would be okay because typically a heat protective is applied before any sort of heat treatment especially at a hair salon… I didn’t see any heat protectant sprayed prior to the styling. It’s now been officially a week later and the ends of my curly hair are pin straight and are refusing to curl and they have had a strong burnt smell since. At first I thought it was residue left behind by the hair spray, but after 4 washes since prom I would’ve assumed any hair spray residue would’ve been washed away. Please, if you have thinner hair or know if your hair is sensitive to heat, make sure heat protection is being used! At the end of the day, I can always get a haircut to trim my damaged ends, however I am slightly bummed that I would have to consider chopping my hair due to damage from a place that is supposed to be considerate towards hair.

Terrible. My girlfriend and two of her friends were getting dry blowouts for prom on Saturday, April 25th. She was supposed to get in at 1:30 and they had her wait until 1:45 until they finally got started on her hair. Then taking another hour and 15minutes to get it done, longer than expected and causing us to be a rush to get ready for prom and for photos as there was rain coming at 5pm and photos were at 4. They finished her hair and it came out terribly. We didn't have time to stay and have them fix it and couldn't ask for them to fix ALL curls they had just did that were already fallen out. During this process, her friend, overheard a female teenage worker that worked the front desk talking to another hair stylist and laughing about how they were getting dry blowouts for prom. Stating, "why would someone get a dry blowout before prom" and as I just stated, laughing about it. We took the $40 loss plus the 20% tip we had given for my girlfriend's hair and went home to get ready. 20 minutes later, when we got home, the curls were fully flattened out and were gone. She had to re-do her hair and had wasted almost 2 hours of her time and $48. We will never be returning to this hair stylist as they feel it is okay to judge and laugh at their customers right in front of their faces and then, the girl who had laughed about the hairstyle choice with her co worker, proceeded to ask for a gratuity when we were paying.

Went here for my hair and makeup trial. Communication with Liz the owner has been responsive and professional. Both artists were friendly and results looked like my inspo pics. They were great in answering my questions as we went along. A hidden gem for brides. Here's a tip-bring eye drops if you get the fake lashes! They looked fantastic but 6 hours later my eyes felt like sandpaper.

My hairstylist was nice. I liked her. But I was charged with something I wasn't aware of and it was not cheap. I didn't know I had to pay extra to just have my hair tied back. I wouldn't mind paying but I would appreciate it if I was told.
