Our first visit to Cain Center for the Arts was a pleasant experience. We live just a stone’s throw away in the charming Town of Davidson, and were invited by a lovely neighbor to a concert. The building itself is beautiful and thoughtfully designed, with a welcoming atmosphere from the moment you walk in. We only explored the first floor! I may be back to cover more. There were plenty of staff members and ushers available, all ready to assist. Right at the entrance, you’re greeted by a gallery space (local artists work on display) and just beyond that is a hallway they also call “Homegrown Jr.”where they showcase more work of local artists—such a meaningful way to highlight community talent! I love it! I did rate 4 stars due to a consistent issue: emails and phone calls have gone unanswered despite multiple attempts to connect. That’s something that should absolutely be addressed, as communication is key for a community-centered space like this. Overall, this is a wonderful addition that brings real value to downtown Cornelius and nearby is well worth a visit. Happy exploring, Josephine Local 📍

Cain Center For The Arts is an amazing venue. We went to see "The Lone Bellow" music group. The venue is small enough that you feel like they're playing just for you!!! Seats were as comfortable as could be expected, staff hospitality was superb and convenient parking. We would definitely go back for another show.

First time bringing our 5- and 3-year-old to the theater, and it was a wonderful experience! The staff was incredibly friendly from the moment we arrived and stayed welcoming throughout our visit. We especially loved the adult “sippy cups”—such a fun touch! The smaller theater setting was perfect for young kids and made the experience much more comfortable for them. We’re already looking forward to the next kids’ show!

Great venue for live music. Good acoustics and seating is laid out very well, don't believe there would be a bad seat in the place. Staff is very nice and helpful. Only complaint the seats them self's were uncomfortable after a short time (hard on the butt) if the seats were more comfortable I would give 5 stars. Will definitely go back though

A beautiful, intimate venue that is absolutely ideal for a small concert. Friendly staff, lovely acoustics, and free parking close by. One of the best places I have ever been for an event.
