Matt the owner is awesome. This gym is perfect for beginners but also more advanced lifters. I can get in and out of a workout in an hour without waiting for machines or squat racks to open.
Side note the gym was also really clean which is important to me.
Overall impressed with the gym and its staff.

I access gyms through Wellhub, a well known company that provides multi-gym access. This location was listed as having access and I checked in on the app as usual upon arrival. When I walked in I was told that while the Mint Hill location participated the Cornelius location did not and I could instead buy a day pass for $25. If another location participates in Wellhub that means the manager/owner is aware of it and should have no excuse to have a location listed where they do not want to participate. Wellhub only allows for access to one gym a day so now I’m prevented from going anywhere else. In addition, because I was not allowed access and was not checked in at the gym I will either be dinged by Wellhub for checking in on their app but not at the gym or if the gym does check me in they will be compensated for the visit despite not allowing me access. Incredibly frustrating experience that was handled incredibly poorly by the manager on duty.

Just an outstanding gym that has been around for quite a while. Matt has done an amazing job! Having an actual 24/7 gym and it keeps the membership head count at a good number so it does not get over is priceless. You have what you need in equipment to locker room show and personal trainers. I know there are more but I do not need much.

This is an awful gym. The owner takes member's money without hiring any staff. The gym is absolutely filthy. No one is hired to clean or even work at the facility. The staffed hours on the sign are a lie. No one works at the front desk or cleans the facility except the owner, who does a very poor job at that. The owner has a severe anger problem and “runs” his gym with incompetency . Please take my advice and go to ANY OTHER GYM.

I have been going to this gym for a few months now. It has all the equipment I enjoy, never too crowded, and great pricing. Also would recommend Kate's massages. She does a fantastic job. Great gym in the LKN community!
