Denver Animal Emergency

We brought in a stray cat that we feed regularly after he showed up limping and clearly in pain. The team treated him with such compassion and professionalism from the moment we walked in. They took the time to assess him carefully, explained everything clearly, and handled him with patience even though he was scared and stressed. They determined he had stepped in a chemical and needed treatment right away. Seeing how much better he felt afterward was such a relief. What meant the most to us was how respectfully and kindly they treated a stray animal and how much care they showed to both him and us during a stressful situation. He came back to our home afterward and was even more affectionate and comfortable than usual, which truly meant so much to us. It felt like he was saying thank you in his own way. We can’t thank the team here enough for the care and love they showed him. Thank you for helping an animal who doesn’t have anyone else looking out for him!!!!

Very kind, compassionate and very knowledgeable. They are doing a great job w my baby girl. No vet, anywhere has ever given updates 24hr a day . She's made progress in 24 hrs sp big surgery for her. I am still praying that she continues to heal and will be back to her sweet, loving goofy beautiful self asap 💖 💗 she wouldn't be here if not for them.

Had a shakey experience with my dog where she had puncture wounds and an infection on her neck that needed to be tended to IMMEDIATELY. WIth it being Sunday, there was limited places I could go. Took a chance and when to Denever Animal Emergency (35min from house) and so happy I did. They gave me an estimate of 2-3 hour wait on the phone (begining once I got there), I drove down there, checked in, waited in my car and was seen by a tech in the first 30 min and in the vet room within the hour. My baby needed to be sedated and they gave me what I believe was a fair and reasonable price for the procedure....they gave me an inital quote of $600-$800 with the deposit of $400 should I have decided to move forward with them (which went towards the $600-$800 quote). I decided to move forward with them and in the end the total price was $700 for the whole thing + medications (once again, wayyyyyyy cheaper than I thought it was going to be and reasonable for what they did). I saw other reviews about the excessive waiting they did and I'll tell you my experience. I called them at 1:30pm, arrived by 2:30pm (& noted that the parking lot was FULL and that there were several people waiting), was seen by the vet at 3:45, and they had my baby out of surgery and ready for pick up by 6:30pm. I couldn't have asked for a better outcome. The staff was nice and informative and I appreciated that they initially tried to remedy my dogs situation without sedation in attempt to be cost effective (she just didnt react well to it and made it clear she would need to be sedated). In a stressful time when our dogs were both injured, Denver Animal Hospital was absolutely wonderful! The process for pulling up and checking in was awesome, calling from our car and then habing someone come out to look at our babies, then bringing us in without interaction with any other animals. The staff went above and beyond to make sure the animals and their people both were taken care of! They communicate so well, on the phone, in person and in text. Even though they were very busy that night and following morning, they kept us informed and aware. They offer complimemtary snacks and drinks, including coffee - which was so helpful in the late night and early morning during our emergency. Our nurses, front desk staff and doctors were all incredible. Highly recommend Denver Animal Hospital in your time of need! I didn't take many pictures in the chaos, but will be sure to get some next time. It is a very comfortable and nice facility.

My little Maltese was screaming in agony this morning, and I took her to this facility, they were quick, compassionate kept me informed, and we are now home with a diagnosis of an Anal abscess. She’s on antibiotics and pain management, and wearing the cone of shame, of course. But a big shout out to helping a very nervous, and overtired dog mom. Thank you again
