Discovery Point Mooresville

We have had a wonderful experience at Discovery Point. They were accommodating to our changing schedule when we moved here and have been extremely supportive ever since. If I have a concern, I feel comfortable voicing them to any of the staff. I am thankful I have a place where my children can be safe and happy.

Discovery Point has been such a blessing for our family. As first time parents we were so nervous leaving our little one in someone else's care. The staff here made us feel so comfortable during our son's transition and made us feel so assured as parents. The staff doesn't just "watch" the kids here. They truly care for the growth and development of your children. From time outdoors, to engaged learning, the teachers are always making the best use of their time. You get real time updates through the app that the school uses and helps you get an idea of how your child's day is going. The admin and front desk staff is also exceptional. They're so friendly, willing to answer any and all questions and help you stay on top of state required paperwork. In our experience, the staff here truly want the best for your children and love them like their own. Our family has had such a great experience here!

I can’t say enough great things about my family’s experience at Discovery Point. My daughter gets excited to go to school everyday, and I think that is a testament to how well she’s treated. The teachers have all been fantastic and always go above and beyond. Our family is thankful we found this school and we’re looking forward to watching our daughter continue to blossom there. I hate to do this because we at first had such an amazing experience. I should have known something was up when one of my son’s teacher’s quit abruptly and one of his friends was abruptly booted from the school. There are some amazing teachers there. There are some that shouldn’t be around kids at all. My son had a great experience with most of the teachers. The last one he was under was horrific. I went from a concerned parent on how my son was being treated when they moved him up to a new class to quickly the villain. The owner initially told me that he was deeply concerned with how my son was being treated to quickly not helping at all. Within the month of me voicing my concerns my son went from a normal toddler to being villainized. Suddenly he was exhibiting horrible behavior that was so incredibly uncharacteristic for him but yet it was only with one teacher…When I fought to move him away from the teacher since it was only happening with her, I was steam rolled at every conversation. Then came the abundance of documentation except for real proof of him behaving the way they said he did. We never actually saw that. When I would ask other teachers if they witnessed anything they would say no he’s been great with them. Confirming it was one teacher. I was forced to share personal information with them about my son’s home life and always left conferences feeling worse. When I would ask questions admin would get aggressive and super defensive. They have their favorites and there’s a few other kids I know they are looking to push out as well. They’ve got it down to an art now. It’s heartbreaking it ended this way. You pick a place where you pray your child will feel safe and loved and it was truly a nightmare that came to life. Keep your kids safe. Don’t bring them here.
