Dynamic Ballroom

I have been taking dancing lessons from JR for a long time , 6-7 years and that is testimony in itself! This is the only dance studio I would recommend. The instructors are very warm and it’s almost like a family affair. JR is very impressionable and has a great sense of humor. Christine is wonderful and brings in the charm . The ambiance is vibrant and lively all the time. I love the one hour I spend every week, helps me not only conquer my stage fright but also the daily stresses and cover out smiling and happy!

I love this place!. I started dancing at Dynamic Ballroom 3 years ago. The teachers are very professional and friendly. They motivated you and helped you to be better each practice. They have a variety of group classes, social dances, private classes. The atmosphere is very nice and the people are very friendly. Best place to dance!

I’ve been dancing at Dynamic with JR Hipsky the owner for 3 years and I love it! I spent 3 years prior doing fitness dancing and solo Latin. JR was my first partner dancing experience. JR genuinely cares about teaching dance although we do laugh more than a little bit. We’re now competing occasionally which feeds my interest in improving. Dynamic Ballroom is one of the best ballrooms in the Charlotte area. Social dancing is popular and reasonably priced every weekend. The beautiful floor is one of the largest and the people are friendly, welcoming, and fun—that’s a great reputation! If you come once you’ll probably return for more….

I have taken both private and group lessons at Dynamic Ballroom for several years now. The instructors are both fun and professional at the same time. I can honestly say this is the most laid back studio and has the most welcoming atmosphere of anywhere I’ve been to dance previously. Made a lot of good friends during my time dancing at Dynamic including the studio owners JR and Christine.

They not only prepared us perfectly for our wedding dance, but we’ve continued to grow and improve together ever since. JR is one of the best instructors we’ve worked with — professional, technical, and always encouraging. Dynamic Ballroom is a special place with an amazing community. We highly recommend it!
