Wowza!!! What can I say about this board?? It is magnificent in every way! VERY high quality, heavy, beautiful, big, and perfect!! Ryan was so easy to work with! He is quick to respond and the turnaround time was fast! It is so hard to find something of this quality in this extra large size so when I found him on Etsy, I knew I had to have it! I had it made to sit over my glass cooktop and it is exactly what I wanted. The rubber feet are non-skid and give it enough lift to not sit right on the cooktop; which is exactly want I envisioned. Ryan is clearly an expert at his craft! Definitely 5-stars; 15/10 rating!!! I certainly would not hesitate to order from him again. Looking forward to many, many years with the stunning board featured in my kitchen.

Worked with Ryan to make some custom stair treads for a spiral staircase. I could not have been happier with their communication, timeliness and all around professionalism. The product was flawless. Highly recommend for any of your custom wood or steel needs!

We searched high and low for someone to make a large walnut countertop for our kitchen island, and we are so grateful we found Ryan at Forged Timber. From our unannounced drop-in at his shop, where he graciously took the time to show us around, answer a million questions, and educate us about wood species -- to the impeccable finished product that his team installed with care... we were happy with every step of the process. The communication back and forth was excellent, with updates and layouts shared, and the prices were fair and transparent. I am super thankful for Ryan and his team at Forged Timber Co. My project was unique and had specifications that I knew were important but didn’t necessarily know how to articulate. From the beginning, Ryan made it easy. He was responsive, he listened to what my desires were, and made suggestion that helped the whole project turn out beautifully. Working with Ryan was an absolute pleasure. The love and excitement he has for his work shows through in his results. We had several of our old solid wood doors refinished by him (into pristine condition), but my favorite project he did for us was our kitchen worktop/island. We found an old general store table and had Ryan clean it up, repair it, and build a copper worktop for it from scratch. This thing is exquisite and is the focal point of our new kitchen. We get compliments on it constantly. I truly can't speak more highly about him, his customer service, and the work he produces. I will be using him for future projects as well.
