Fresh Chef Huntersville

With it being Valentine’s weekend, my friend and I couldn’t find a restaurant with availability , everything was completely booked! After researching, we saw that Fresh Chef didn’t list reservations, so we decided to take a chance and just walk in. The moment we walked through the door, the supervisor/manager greeted us warmly , it honestly felt like she knew we were coming. We asked if there was a table available and she said, “Yes, we have one last table.” That alone felt meant to be! The atmosphere was immaculate ,calm, welcoming, and beautifully set. The service was spectacular. The staff consistently checked on us without being overbearing, making sure we were comfortable the entire time. As for the food , it truly lives up to the name Fresh Chef. I had the chicken stir fry with angel hair pasta, and my friend ordered the chicken Alfredo pasta. Both dishes were flavorful, hot, and perfectly prepared. For our appetizer, we shared the spinach artichoke dip, and it was absolutely delicious. And dessert? The peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream was the perfect ending. It tasted homemade ,warm, sweet, and comforting with the ice cream melting right over the top. Even the bathroom was clean, which always says a lot about a restaurant. We had such a relaxed and enjoyable experience. I’m so grateful they had availability when everything else was booked. We will definitely be going back!

I was attempting to go to a Thai restaurant this weekend and they were all closed for the 4th of July… upon a quick search, google recommended this restaurant. First I would love to give a big shout out to Linda. She was freaking phenomenal!! After telling her this was our 1st time here, she immediately offered to comp our appetizer or dessert! She was friendly, knowledgeable and the entire staff was such a please to deal with. The food was delicious, I didn’t take a picture of everything because I was having such a good time. At the end, even though we didn’t get an appetizer or dessert, Linda gave us our drinks on the house! We will definitely be back again to try the other menu favorites!

Friendly neighborhood restaurant. Staff is friendly enough. I thought the menu had too many options for such a small spot. A restaurant of that size can’t do everything right and they didn’t. I went out with friends, one opted for some sort of chicken teriyaki with rice, but when it came out it looked more like soup, hardly any rice. Another friend opted for the salmon. She seemed to like as it was cooked to her liking. I opted for a chicken wrap with bacon, no bacon came. It also came with fries, but they were so greasy that I had to ask them to send out another order. When the second order came out, they were just as greasy. I can’t say that I would rush back.

We’ve eaten at the Fresh Chef in Huntersville several times now and every visit has been great! It’s a wonderful place to have a drink, a meal, or just to get away and socialize with a friend. By the way, Boomer and Gen X (and I’m sure others) will enjoy the music background too. Everything from the menu I’ve had there was excellent. The service from the staff and management is also excellent! Kudos to Angela who’s very personable and has taken care of us on multiple occasions. If you’ve not been there, give it a try. I think you’ll like the vibe.

This was my first visit to Fresh Chef restaurant & it won’t be the last. The food is made from scratch and insanely good! We’re very picky so In order for us to say something is good, the taste must be incredible. I tried the two chicken breasts served Hawaiian style with a mushroom risotto side and broccoli and also the Cajun chicken pasta which was spectacular! My husband enjoyed the trout & the Brussel sprouts side. We also brought home a blueberry cobbler and ice cream to top it. It was so delish! This was one of the tastiest restaurants I have ever visited. Can’t wait to visit again. I have already shared on Facebook to tell my neighbors in Davidson. I suggested they grab a menu and use the QR code for takeout orders, they even offer delivery. This place is awesome. Special shout to Kaleb our waiter, he was amazing and incredibly attentive. And Kim, one of the managers, goes above and beyond to make sure guests are happy. Can’t wait to visit again. I’m just worried that by telling everyone how much we loved it, we won’t be able to get in anymore. Trust me, just go dine. You’ll taste for yourself. Bon appetit Josephine Local Guide
