May 11 I purchased 8 plants. 7days later 6 died. 2 are flourishing. I went back to either get a refund or swap them for another plant. Unfortunately this local business doesn’t take returns on plants. Lowe’s and Walmart do. So back to big box shopping for me. I would have expected a small business like this to work with their customers.

Big selection of fall merchandise. We stopped by having learned they carry River Bend Creamery ice cream - bought two, and some spices I can only find here, and a loaf of fresh sour dough. Today, the Milos ice cream truck was on-site (see seperate review).

We were driving and looking for some fresh produce after visiting the regular Denver Farmer’s Market, which was pretty sparse, so we stopped by Fresh Market Produce along Old Highway 16 in Denver,NC. I was pleasantly surprised with the variety and freshness of what they offer. We saw watermelon, cantaloupe, tomatoes, cheese, sweet corn, radishes, carrots, peaches, cage free eggs, and more. The prices were not low, but the freshness, variety and the idea of supporting local farmers made us want to buy. We ended up with several packages of cheese. The peppper-jack, ghost pepper and garlic herb cheese were excellent. We are still enjoying them. This is a “Farmers Market” that is open every day and it is a Certified Roadside Farm Market according to their sign. The staff were helpful and friendly. Check it out!

Great neighborhood produce, plant, and light grocery store. The vegetables and fruit are always very fresh and mostly from local farms in season. Some great nostalgia and throw-back candies, gum, and drinks. Prices are very fair.

We love this place as a family get everything from a slushie to a brand new hanging plant. It is a must do if you love to support local. We just picked up Easter Day plants and some cinnamon buns to bring to the mother-in-law house for Easter and a plant for my own mother when we all eat Easter dinner together.
