Gracie Rae’s

Sat in the bar area and ordered hot honey bacon pancakes & an “Irish coffee”. The pancakes were okay but there was nothing spicy about them. The coffee was made with PB liquor (that’s not an Irish coffee?!). Anyway, my food came out in a timely manner and I would visit again, if given the chance.

This is definitely a must for breakfast!! The menu is a southern twist on classic breakfast fare. I had the bananas foster french toast. It was delicious but I didnt expect the bread to have chocolate ships in it. Where I was expecting a buttery caramel flavor profile, i got banana chocolate instead. Still good but different. The service was top notch and I highly recommend coming here!!

3rd day open! (Copy/paste from yelp) My wife and I went on Saturday and was seated quickly. Staff were friendly but a little flustered by what I later learned to be because of the rush that had come in around 9 (we had got there at 9:30) we decided to sit at the bar. We were given beverages and threw in our order as well (I the BLT, my wife the full southern and we split a sweet treat the bourbon street French toast) The restaurant was FULL at this time, so to be expected service was a little slower, third day open, I would expect this, everyone is LEARNING! What matters was the food The food was AMAZING! Portions were big. BLT was done perfectly and exactly the way I like it (thick slice tomato, light mayo, 3-4 pieces crispy bacon) Full southern (biscuits were perfection, gravy was addicting, hash browns were such a compliment and cooked so well, sausage was light with amazing flavor, eggs were cooked PERFECT over easy, and cheesy grits were bold) Bourbon street French toast. If you do not order this sweet treat you are not experiencing Gracie Rae's, it was probably top 5 best sweeter option French toasts I have ever had. All-in-all. Welcome to Statesville, we will always come back, we will wait when need be. 100/10. Could not have been better. What an amazing addition to our lovely downtown Statesville. WELCOME HOME!

The more things change the more they stay the same…..Gracie Ray it’s a no. I’m flummoxed anyone even set this plate in front of me. What’s with the coffee sludge film? Why are the strawberries past their prime? Why isn’t the English muffin toasted? What’s with the $15.95 price point for one egg and a small amt of salmon strips? Why is the cup of grits so sloppy looking? Good luck. I’ll stick with Bristol. 🐝

Amazing food, great location and excellent service. My husband had the Hot Honey Hog Pancakes and I had the Bourbon St. French Toast. OMG sooo good and the homemade livermush was the best ever. Exactly what was needed in our small town. The owner actually came over and spoke bourbon with the husband which was very nice. We have finally found our breakfast spot
