Hawthorne’s NY Pizza and Bar

I walked my dogs past this place for 3 months, and smelled the smells. I finally caved and went in for dinner. Service was great, Matthew was prompt, pleasant and knew the menu well, offering suggestions. The food was 20/10. Everything was fresh, hot and really good quality. We had garlic knots, Cajun pasta and a stromboli. I would definitely be back for sure to try that pizza, it looked perfect! The patio area always looks perfect, and the inside was clean, including the bathroom.

Excellent food and service! Our waiter’s great attitude made the experience even better. Wings and pizza were spot on, as always. Highly recommend.

We had a fun family meal here. The price was reasonable for a family of four where everyone wanted their own separate dish. The pizza and pasta seemed fresh and tasty. Our server was excellent and was very attentive.

We love this place! We come almost every Tuesday and consistently have the best food and service. The host, Lundy(*) is always helping and staying busy...he's ON IT. And we love everyone but always ask for Jaimie or Matt! They remember our kids order every week and even help them with the claw machine. It's really one of our favorite nights of the week!

Our first time visiting Hawthornes in Mooresville. The pizza was delicious! We got a pepperoni and sausage Sicilian. It was massive. Enough for myself, husband and kid to eat. Plus enough for probably another 2 meals. The dough was cooked perfectly! The garlic knots were perfect. Fluffy and not overly greasy with a wonderful roasted garlic on top. Of course we had to get the waffle fries because… why not? The atmosphere seems very family friendly but I will admit it’s very loud. It was hard to hold a conversation at the table. My only complaint was the service. It was friendly, but our waitress wasn’t very attentive. Sure, they’re new and still working the kinks out but we waited almost 20 mins to pay after our check was delivered. The hostess refilled our drinks because she saw them empty for a while. So I’m sure with time this will only get better! Their bar specials included a $3 draft until the end of august… I’ll definitely be back for that! It was a little more expensive than we wanted but overall, still good.
