Highway 16 Auto Repair, LLC

New to the area, my car started shaking one day and then my interior door wouldn’t open; my family referred me to these guys. I spoke with Cory and from the jump he was very kind, honest and helpful. I explained my situation, and how my vehicle that needed work is my only mode of transportation currently. I was given a fair timeframe of when they would be able to get my car done by. I live about a mile and a half down the road from the shop, and was going to walk home. To my surprise, Tim stopped me in the parking lot (as they were concerned for my safety walking along the highway), and Cory gave me a ride home AND when my car was done, he came and got me from my house! They looked my car over and found a couple of additional things that needed to be done to it, they called me to let me know and gave me the options vs assuming and just doing. Not to bring THIS aspect up but it can be a reality sometimes: as a woman who’s not well versed in the car repair world, it can be easy to be taken advantage of. Not here however, I felt beyond taken care of, educated and respected by these guys! Cars are expensive, but I was happily surprised at my total by the end of it all. A HUGE thank you and my continued patronage will be given to these guys, as they are AWESOME!

I had a positive experience. The desk helper was courteous. My time was respected. The emissions/safety testing was completed super fast. I was charged $30. I noticed that those who have a complaint are routed to a different place, not this review site, so we're only seeing reviews of those who had no complaints. I take both of my vehicles here for annual testing, but have not needed any repairs, thankfully, on my 2008 Prius or my 2021 Pacifica, ever.

I went in to have my brakes checked. I always have had great service for normal maintenance. However, I didn’t know what to expect for a different issue. Again, fantastic service and I only needed front brakes. I know other places would try to push additional services/parts but never here. Always professional!

I’ve been there twice and it’s a great place! Reasonable, honest and easy to make an appointment. I’ve left the dealership in Huntersville after they were constantly upselling and over charging. I’m happy to have found this place!

Very pregnant currently and very hot NC summer. Mike was kind enough to squeeze us in and try to fix or diagnose our AC being out. I now have functioning AC all for a reasonable cost.
