I popped into Hudson Salon just to browse their hair products and was warmly greeted by Marian. She’s incredibly knowledgeable and even gave me a mini tour. Her kindness truly stood out! Great experience! Julia was professional and kind, offered expert advice, and gave me exactly what I asked for. There were also no surprise costs when I went to pay, which has not been my experience at other salons in the area. The salon was clean and well-kept and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend, and will be back.

I had a great experience at Hudson Salon with Emma White. She was so sweet, listened to my concerns, and gave me great guidance on achieving healthier hair. I came in unsure of what I wanted, and she gave me an amazing haircut that left me feeling happy and confident. Highly recommend!

Maggie is such a sweet & fun soul! She is SO intentional with everything she does. She helps me to feel more beautiful every time I get my hair done by her. She has incredible knowledge & recommendations on what color would suit me, my skin tone, etc & she NEVER MISSES! I really love the atmosphere at Hudson Salon overall, everyone is always so friendly & you are always greeted with a smile & made feel welcomed. 10/10! I couldn’t recommend Maggie enough. She has helped me achieve a more natural look because my hair was previously damaged & my hair has never felt more healthy. 🩷

I took a long time to calm down before finally writing about the painful experience my mother and I had with this salon. About two years ago, while my mother was visiting the U.S., she wanted to get a perm here. Her hair was extremely short — barely past her ears. Before booking, I asked how much it would cost. Instead of giving even an estimate, they insisted we come into the salon because the stylist “needed to see the hair length first.” I checked their website beforehand, and at the time the highest listed price for a permanent wave service was $298. Based on that, I agreed to make an appointment and drive there. After looking at my mother’s hair in person, they quoted us $350 — for hair that was extremely short. On top of that, they immediately charged me a $100 non-refundable appointment fee. I questioned why the cost was so much higher than the maximum price listed on their own website, especially considering my mother’s very short hair. They could not give any reasonable explanation. Instead, they repeatedly emphasized that the $100 deposit was non-refundable. So what exactly is the purpose of the pricing range on the website if customers are simply charged whatever amount they decide? Why were we quoted significantly more than the listed maximum price? In the end, we decided not to proceed with the perm here. The whole experience felt incredibly dishonest and scam-like. What made this even more frustrating was that I had just given birth at the time and did not want to bring my newborn baby out just for someone to “look at” my mother’s hair. I explained that I could easily send photos instead, but they refused completely. The lack of flexibility, empathy, and transparency was shocking. This was honestly a nightmare experience, and I personally would not recommend this salon at all.
