Inizio Pizza Napoletana Huntersville

Tried their popular pistachio pesto pizza and it was good. The cannolli was decent. Will try their other options in my next visit.

expected a lot better from this place. The pizza wasn’t great, and the customer service was disappointing as well. No one came by to check on us, ask if we needed anything, or even see how the food was. My kid didn’t like the pizza at all and said it was nasty, and wouldn’t eat it. Overall, it was an underwhelming experience, especially given the expectations for this pizzeria.

Inizio Pizza is a fantastic spot for authentic Neapolitan-style pizza. The pizzas are made to be enjoyed fresh, and they’re best eaten right there while they’re hot. The food always comes out quickly and hot, which makes the experience even better. Their Italian gelato is hands down the best in Huntersville and the perfect way to finish the meal. Consistently great food and a place we’re always happy to return to.

I was just driving around looking for something to eat and spotted this place. The vibe inside is super cool and welcoming, and there's plenty of parking nearby, which is always a win. The staff was awesome — really helpful and patient while we asked about all the pizza options (because let’s be honest, they all sounded good). We ended up going with the Pistachio Pesto pizza and a mix of cannolis for dessert. The pizza was incredible. The pesto flavor was rich and nutty, and the pistachios gave it a unique twist. We added sausage, which brought the perfect texture and savory balance. The dough? Just right — lightly charred with that wood-fired crisp, but still soft and chewy inside. I was this close to ordering another pizza to-go, but I was way too full. Definitely coming back. Highly recommend!

I have enjoyed Inizio pizzas for years, but yesterday was the first time we ate at the restaurant instead of carry-out. That pizza straight from the oven is next-level!! We got the pistachio pesto pizza and it was outrageously delicious! I highly recommend everything on the menu, but this one stands out as my favorite.
