Iron Thunder Saloon & Grill - Mooresville

So this is the deal, it should not be a surprise to you what to expect. This is a bar, with bar food. Now, I will say that we only had 2 appetizers because their oven was broken so what we wanted they couldn't make. The Nachos were simply ok. The shredded cheese wasn't melted and the pulled pork and whatnot just sat on the top of the nachos. I will say the artichoke crab dip was pretty good. I couldn't find any crab in it, but it did taste like there was crab in it 😁. In regards to the service, that's where things fall flat. They do not have enough staff. There were two servers so expect it to be slow. Strangely we didn't get plates or silverware with our apps. I literally had to go to the hostess stand to get some silverware and use napkins as plates while we ate. It also would have been nice to know when we were handed the menus that the oven was broken, but instead when they asked what we wanted then it was, "yea about that, our oven is broken......I'll give you a few minutes to look over the menu again". I'm not giving a low star rating because of a broken oven, things happen, it was the slow service, the lack of attention, and mediocre Nachos preparation. We will give it another try, and hopefully I can update this post then.

Such a great place to eat, drink, hang out. Food is phenomenal and always good drink specials. 2 pool tables in back, patio outside when its warm, sports on all the time. Great place to watch the panthers games too...

Passing through town on a bar hop from Chicago going to Fort Lauderdale, Florida googled biker bar with good food near me going down HWY 77 and iron thunder was the first one to pop up. Pulled in there had a couple drinks &chicken Philly. This place is definitely cool. I could see it’s a happening place when they’re doing something. Bar-mid was notch. Food was delicious. Beer was cold. Everything you need . Cheers!

Says it closes at 12 am. A massive wedding party wanted to come here after reception to grab a few drinks each and when we got there around 10:45/11, it was closed. Everyone was extremely disappointed. Update your times if this is the case.

You won't find a finer and more customer respected bar or restaurant like Hotshots Mooresville. From the pool leagues to darts , to poker, to the very friendly staff. The owner takes care of the veterans and the local community. You won't find many places like this around here. Give Hotshots a try, you'll thank me later. BTW THE FOOD IS REALLY GREAT!
