Jay Reid School of Golf

I’ve taken lessons with other instructors, but one hour with Jay made a bigger difference than anything else I’ve tried. He simplified things, made it click, and actually made golf fun again. Highly recommend.

I want to thank my friend Jay Reid for an outstanding golf lesson today. I made as progress on my swing today as I have in years. What I thought were swing issues were some clear setup issues. Issues I would have never seen without his untrained eyes and practical swing thoughts. There’s no magic bullet, and I’ve got to put the work in to create consistency with these new shifts; but the results in just an hour of work together are, without exaggeration, unbelievable. If you’ve been thinking about booking a golf lesson, please give him a shout. The biggest mistake I’ve made with my golf game was not going to see him the first time I said I would in 2017.

10/10 recommend Mr Jay. Not only a class act, but a wizard of a coach. Fixed my slices in 30 mins, and gave me a lot of insightful info.

Jay is an awesome instructor and just an all-around great guy. My wife and I had a lesson with him today, and can’t believe what we took away from it in just one hour. I can usually survive a round of golf, and every now and then I'll accidentally hit a shot that makes me think I should be on TV. Unfortunately, those moments are usually followed by a slice that ends up in the next zip code. Consistency has never been a conversation in my game. In 30 minutes, Jay had both of us hitting the ball straighter and longer than we ever have. By the end of the hour, I honestly couldn't believe the difference. It felt like someone swapped out my golf swing while I wasn't paying attention. What I appreciated most about Jay was how he teaches. He clearly knows his stuff, but doesn’t over complicate how to get from A to Z. He explains things in a simple, and easy to understand way that translates to results, rather than leaving you in your head, frustrated, trying to remember every little nuance and how to apply what you just learned. If you're on the fence about taking a lesson, do yourself a favor and book one with Jay. Whether you're trying to fix a slice, add some distance, or just stop donating golf balls to the woods, he's your guy. Now I just need my scorecard to catch up with my swing. Thanks again Jay!
