Lake Norman Golf Club

We moved to the golf course about 8 months ago. We have to say that we are very disappointed that they allow people to walk their dogs on the actual course. Despite having no trespassing signs, dog walkers allow their dogs to roam freely on the golf course, creating a loud living environment and people feel free to cut through residents yards to get to the course. The other issue is that they have allowed Bamboo to grow wild in certain areas, which cause destruction to peoples properties.

Please take the overall rating with a grain of salt. My review will be on everything (and not just one person being rude or whatever and them justifying a one star). The staff: Absolutely the best. They were awesome to talk to, happy to be there, and excited about things to come for the course. The lady in the pro shop is very friendly. The course: Greens are in awesome shape. Fairways are clear and recognizable. Tee boxes can use some work. Overall: HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Still a same old mallard head conditions but now charging 70 dollars with almost zero changes to the course except new carts with no GPS and some lngc tee markers. Not to mention no hot dogs on a major holiday! See ya never

Loved this course when it was Mallard the price was right. Now they charge $55 for the same product DURING WINTER! Way overpriced for what you get. $40 is what it should be. MCG is 100 times better for the same price. Tee boxes and fairways are total trash. Way overpriced I will not golf there for that price! Look elsewhere

I have lived on this course for almost 5 years and I have never seen it in a better shape than this. Every week we play, something has changed for the better. Not to mention the opportunity this place is providing for the people staffed there. The staff is great and welcoming, from the pro shop to the staff outside running the place. Gavin, Claire, Megan, Aidan, John they are all amazing. Course conditions are improving by the day. Tee boxes finally have grass, greens are leaving divots and balls rolling better, traps have actual sand and its not a relieve point anymore, some fairways are already looking good but we know that it is going to take a whole spring/summer to get that crab grass out of there. The pond is lively and clean finally, and the clean electric carts are a great addition. While I miss the old folks, I believe they left the track in good hands that will take good care of it. I can't wait to see this place by the end of next year -G
