Griffin “Dip” Kale and his wife, Elsie, built and operated Lake Norman Marina into the dealership we know today. The Kales’ genuine concern for the customer and renowned reputation for service have been the basis of the company’s steady growth. Dip and Elsie’s enthusiasm for boating and customer care has spread throughout the organization, resulting in a staff that goes the extra mile for its customers.
Dip passed away in 2014, but his spirit lives on at Lake Norman Marina. His son, Mark Kale, is now president and owner, while his grandson, Logan, leads the sales team. And as for Elsie; you can catch her stopping by the marina just about every day, usually with some baked goodies to keep our staff energized. (We appreciate you, Ms. Elsie!)
