Treated myself to a spa day here! I started with the Red Light therapy bed which was amazing. I felt so relaxed and at peace after. Then I went into the Salt Room which I could feel help my breathing. My only wish is that it was a little darker so it would be a little more relaxing. I ended my time there with a massage from Katie. She helped bring the relaxation full circle and really helped my body relax in the same way my mind did. I really did enjoy my time there and will be going back.
If I could just mention that the woman that was up at the front was rushing me in the beginning and sort of gave me a feeling I was bothering her, not a fan of her energy at all. And I do wish I knew more of what to expect when coming in for a "day" like that. I had to undress for red-light, then get re dressed for the salt room, but had to take my socks and shoes off and walk bare foot on the floors/carpet and then get undressed again for the massage. I would have brought my own robe or brought flip-flops or dressed differently had I known.
Again, I will gladly go back and book with Katie for massage and make a day out of it I just will be more prepared.

In short: DO NOT recommend. Longer version: this business prioritizes money over customer experience. The “great deal” membership requires cancellation within 30 days, which locks you into paying for at least two months. There are ZERO reminders of upcoming charges, so if you don’t cancel the exact day it renews, you’re billed again. I was charged for January without realizing it and never used the sessions. They refused to refund that month saying since they have my signature on the agreement, it is all on me. However, one of the employees told me I could bring in family or friends in February to “make up some of my money.” Yet, when I tried to bring my husband and a friend just once, I was told I had to pay. When I reminded them what I was told, they claimed I misunderstood and said, “you don’t seem to understand that we’re running a business here. We’re not giving out free sessions to everyone.” Ending it with a phrase: “this is ridiculous. Just bring whoever you want!” I was left feeling stupid and like I was trying to take advantage of them. The dismissive tone, failed promises and lack of understanding were so disappointing that I immediately said I won’t ever be back. I felt misled and taken advantage of. My family has been to other salt spas before and this one is by far the worst experience we’ve had.
UPDATE: Your two-hour response to my review compared to how long I waited when I first raised concerns (the owner never called me; I had to email just to get a response) once again proves this business prioritizes protecting itself over genuinely caring for customers. You’re hiding behind “our policy,” but your policy IS YOU, and you know exactly how it’s structured and how misleading it is. Presenting it as a favor to “let me cancel before 30 days” when February only has 28 days is disingenuous. Calling this “being fair to all customers” essentially says: yes, this is how we operate, and if you get stuck paying more than you expected, that’s on you. To be clear: we paid $600 for 2 months and used only 3 salt sessions. When I wanted to bring a friend and her child — something we were explicitly told we could do (and no, this was not a February promotion; we were told this would help us “get our money’s worth for January”) I was called ridiculous! That alone speaks volumes. What should have been a few simple halo therapy sessions for my kids turned into financial stress and unnecessary hardship for our family. So disappointed to see a local business take advantage of the very community it serves.

My cousin and I had the opportunity to visit Lake Normal Salt Spa in Cornelius, NC. Upon entering the facility, we were greeted by Barbara. She was very pleasant and nice. We completed an informational sheet before our Halotherapy Session. We also viewed the various products for sale such as salt for baths, scrubs, salt lamps, and more. We placed our personal items in a locker. You have the choice to wear socks or go barefooted. They have zero gravity chairs, Salt blocks of Himalayan salt and Himalayan salt all over the floor. You have option of sitting up or laying back in the chair. The salt is cool and refreshing while walking through it. When the session began, cool air was streaming through the room. With the air and salt, the air was fresh and refreshing. During the session, it felt wonderful to breathe deeply and listening to the soft and soothing music. The session lasted for 45 minutes. After the session, we didn’t want to leave because it was so relaxing. My only wish is for the room to be dark instead of light. A darker room would’ve been more relaxing. Other than that, I believe people will enjoy the experience.

First time visit, but won’t be my last. The red light therapy/infrared detox bed felt like a day at the beach that brought physical and mental relaxation. I look forward to exploring other services, and bringing along family and friends.

Last Christmas, my daughter gave me a gift certificate to the salt Spa. After my first visit, I was hooked. It’s nearly a year later and I visit once or twice a week. The salt room helps my lung condition as well as allergies. At times I enter with a terrible headache from the pollen and within 15 minutes, I am clear and pain-free. The infrared sauna is good for my skin and detoxifying my body. I highly recommend this salt Spa.
