Lakecations - Lake Norman

This house is wonderful! We stayed there for the 2nd time recently and had a blast. We cooked dinner for 12 and the kitchen has everything we needed. The AvantStay property managers communicate very well and make sure your stay is fantastic. They are very quick to respond and assist with anything needed. We will be staying there again!

Late review but here it is! Experience was nice, home is as pictured. Rooms were comfy. Home had a packed down smell (we purchased plugins and that issue was resolved) The patio and patio furniture connected to the master room could use some pressure washing for sure (hopefully by now this has been done) lots of broken branches in backyard as well. Pots can use some updating as well, pretty mix matched and limited at the time of my stay. Beyond those the things privacy was there, beautiful lake view, firewood was available for fire pit (it began to rain as we set it up :(. All in all we enjoyed our stay. May2025

We enjoyed a long weekend for Easter. The house had plenty of amenities to prepare meals. Everything was clean, quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed our stay very much and would stay again.

Absolutely incredible stay at 176 Ballycastle! The home is beautiful, spotless, and perfectly located on Lake Norman with stunning water views. The outdoor spaces—especially the pool, dock, and lounge areas—made it easy to relax and enjoy every moment. Inside, the house is spacious, well-decorated, and fully stocked with everything we needed. The hosts were responsive, welcoming, and clearly care about every detail. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful, upscale getaway. 5 stars all around
