Lucky Dog Bark & Brew - Lake Norman

Wednesday was Peanut's first time here and she absolutely loved the other dogs and room to run. She enjoyed the friendly staff/bartender and happy I was able to relax with some wine. Will definitely return.

We LOVE Lucky’s! Weather it’s “playcare”, sleepovers or for a haircut they are hands down the best around. The staff are kind and caring. They will reach out if they have questions. We leave our sweet boy there with confidence knowing he is well cared for and loved. Plus he loves it there- he’s jumps out of the car and literally cry’s happy squeals as soon as he gets there😊

If Biskee could drive herself, she would! As it is, as soon as I mention the word Lucky, she races to where her leash is. Then when we get in the car she’s literally telling me to go faster, she’s not content that I go over the speed limit, she wants faster! She loves everyone at Lucky Dog, she feels so comfortable there and I feel so comfortable leaving her there, whether it’s for the day or a week or longer. She considers Lucky Dog her 2nd home!

I can’t say enough good things about Lucky Dog Lake Norman! My pup Wrigley is a quirky guy who definitely marches to the beat of his own drum, and the staff there not only embrace his unique personality, they celebrate it! From the moment we walk in, it’s clear how much love and care goes into everything they do. The Lucky Dog team is warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about dogs. Wrigley always comes home happy, tired, and full of tail-wagging stories (if only he could talk!). Whether it’s playtime with furry friends, cuddle breaks, or just being understood for who he is, this place has become a second home for him. It gives me such peace of mind knowing he’s in a safe, fun, and nurturing environment. If you are looking for a daycare or overnight boarding that treats your dog like family, Lucky Dog Lake Norman is the one!

The services advertised such as nail trimming, and grooming are not services offered to guests. Those services are only available to members. (so a hefty, unadvertised fee is required monthly to talk about anything other than a drink here) The "off-leash" area is not really indoors, so I wouldn't go if it's remotely wet or cold or hot. The advertising suggests this is a cool place for your dogs needs where you can also get a drink; it is actually better described as a place where people who need a drink can go that won't kick their dog out, and also has an over-priced grooming/boarding racket attached. If you're a heavy drinker, who needs a bar they can spend hours at without leaving their dog alone, this is for you. If you need you dogs nails done on a Sunday and you make the drive after they advertised that service, prepare to leave as disappointed as I did, or bring your checkbook.
