Mountain Creek Marina

I can be a bit stingy on five star ratings, but in this case it is earned. First, the pricing was fair --not "dirt cheap." It was far more reasonable than much of the competition in the area. The boat rental fee was posted online, so that wasn't a surprise. The tube rental was good enough, and the gas price was actually cheap for marina fuel in my experience. The service was good. I dealt with several different people and all of them seemed to like their jobs, had positive attitudes, and were really helpful. Other than asking me if I knew how to "operate the brakes" on the boat, they didn't treat me like just another irritating tourist. The boat itself was perfect for our needs. We rented a tritoon to and we had room for six people, a dog, a tube, and various geer. It was a recent model which appeared to be in perfect condition, The Yamaha engine was appropriately sized and was pretty fuel efficient which, after owning multiple outboards over the years, was a pleasant surprise. On returning the boat, there were no surprises. No hidden fees. Oh, and not only did they permit dogs, they didn't charge an extra fee like some others do. When I return to Lake Norman, I will be returning to Mountain Creek.

My family rented one of the boats for the day, and were not disappointed; the service was excellent, the boat was well-kept, and the price was reasonable. Not to mention the location was perfect for where we stayed. We will definitely be renting with them again!

The consistency of the experience my family gets for every lake visit is outstanding. We have been at mountain creek marina for about 2 years. The staff at mountain creek marina are incredible at every step. Each team member you in encounter is happy and willing to help. As a member of mountain creek marina we just had the best summer ever in 2025 on the lake and utilized our boat more than previous years. We are thankful for your service and staff. This marina really caters to the customer. Everyone there makes you feel like they're happy to see you. The owner knew me by name when I walked in the door. Pretty impressive. Brody really took care of us and was full of great information. I highly recommend this place!
