Joey is a talented musician and teacher. My son has been taking lessons with him for several months. I love that he challenges my son (6 years old) rather than reducing the expectation or technique. His approach is experiential learning and he works to tailor lessons to the interests of the child. He also does a great job of identifying strengths and honing in on those. I love that he encourages my son to experiment with his instruments. We look forward to taking lessons with Joey for years to come. I can’t recommend anyone better for music lessons in Lake Norman area!!

My son loves going to his music lessons with Joey. He does the lessons in his home and my son learns the piano skills at his pace. Joey is able to tier the lesson on the fly to music my son is into in order to keep him engaged and wanting to learn more.
