Pet Paradise Lake Norman

I have been bringing my boy here since we moved to NC last year, he has been boarded many times with them. I have always been satisfied and felt at ease he is safe there for how much we travel out of state. This time he got groomed as well, couldn't be happier!! So handsome. They love him there and I can tell every time he is well taken care of (:

Dr. Luckey, Mr. Pierce, and the front desk associates all took great care of my dog. They were very gentle and kind with her & made sure she was comfortable throughout her visit. It was a wonderful veterinary experience for an anxious dog 🐕

Great place and employees and my dog used to be afraid of boarding but this place is different she loves to see the other dogs and grooming is great when you come pick them up! They also have a vet on site. I wish they had more cameras so we can check on the dogs like pay extra for a crate camera or something but I like the yard cameras some yards like 2 and 3 are a bit hard to see but you know your dog when you see them. I highly recommend this place

I brought our dog Jack in for his shot updates. The Vet Tech was really good and knowledgeable. The Vet gave him the shots, took a blood sample all without a trace of discomfort from Jack. Highly recommended

Our dog stayed here several times, and unfortunately, each visit ended with health issues such as yeast infections, limping, and irritated paws. His most recent two-week stay was the final straw. We had clearly informed staff that our dog is 8 years old with joint issues and arthritis, and therefore requires limited physical activity and close monitoring. Despite this, the “enjoyed lots of activity” box was checked on his report card. When we picked him up, he was limping and unable to walk properly. His paw was visibly swollen and infected, something that was never mentioned to us during his stay. We had paid for multiple one-on-one play sessions, expecting attentive care and observation. Instead, our dog required antibiotics and veterinary treatment for the weeks following his stay. Our vet confirmed that a tendon in his paw had RUPTURED and never healed properly. If I am paying for one-on-one playtime I expect the team to notice a paw double the normal size. Additionally, the skin around his neck was irritated, likely from a collar being left on too tightly. We had also requested a bath on his final day, but he came home wet, smelling bad, and in such poor condition that we had to bathe him ourselves. We tried contacting the facility several times over the following months but received no apology, explanation, or effort to make things right. We explicitly requested an answer in writing. Based on our experiences, we can no longer trust this place with our dog’s care. Negligent and irresponsible behavior.
