Pet Paradise Mooresville

This was our 1st boarding experience with the Mooresville location. Check in was smooth, the staff was friendly and very loving to my pup. Check out was also easy. I had questions about my account & the staff kindly took care of the issue making sure my credit was applied. My pup seemed to have a good time playing, and was well taken care of during her stay. The only issue was I sent my pups food in reusable ziplock bags and most of them were not returned.

My girlfriend has brought her dog to this place in the past. After this time he was shaking when we dropped him off. She paid for the suite (which is basically just solitary confinement). As well, she paid for fur connected which I’ll get to later, and on top of that she paid for the grooming service. Well all that together was not cheap. Frankie, the groomer, called her Saturday and said the hair on the dog is matted and that she needs to cut it down low because of that. My gf explicitly said to not shave him down to his skin. Well what do you know… she shaved it down to the skin. But wait… it gets worse! When the dog was brought home, we noticed he has a red mark on his butt from where Frankie made him bleed and didn’t even say anything to us about it. This can lead to an infection so maybe say something about it so the owner is aware in the future. Back to the fur connect thing, they decided they just weren’t going to abide by the contract and send her any photos over the weekend… maybe it’s because they were embarrassed with the skinning job Frankie did😂. Lost a customer. Look at how bad he looks😭 dude used to be cute

We have been using Day Care at Pet Paradise for at least 3 months now and couldn’t be happier. For your furr babies first day they take lots of adorable picture and fill out a report card in how your furr baby did. The staff quickly gets to know your furr baby and are always excited to see they come in. They even add on fun options through out the year like pictures with Santa etc. I highly recommend Pet Paradise :)

When you have the ability to read and comprehend you’ll see there is an increase in holiday and weekends on the website it’s so extremely easy to find (although common sense). It’s also extremely easy to see the locations on the site to ensure you pick the correct location. Since I have special need dogs this was also taken into consideration with questions. Always been super friendly, commutative and willing to ensure equal access as I am Deaf. My only complaint is I wish they had a bigger area for the cats (so I ca bring mine) which is so beyond the workers control.

While I'm giving 4 stars, I do still recommend this facility. The place is clean, when I order pics they send really great pictures of my fur baby. They are communicative about anything that arises. Also, and this is key. Everytime I bring my dog here, she's excited. I've taken her to other facilities and she resists wanting to even enter the building. This is the more important factor for me. However, compared to my experience with pet Paradise in Sanford FL, I feel that there is less personal attention, and much less consistency with the daily report card in this location. That is why this facility received 4 stars instead of 5.
