Pet Paradise Mooresville

We have been using Day Care at Pet Paradise for at least 3 months now and couldn’t be happier. For your furr babies first day they take lots of adorable picture and fill out a report card in how your furr baby did. The staff quickly gets to know your furr baby and are always excited to see they come in. They even add on fun options through out the year like pictures with Santa etc. I highly recommend Pet Paradise :)

When you have the ability to read and comprehend you’ll see there is an increase in holiday and weekends on the website it’s so extremely easy to find (although common sense). It’s also extremely easy to see the locations on the site to ensure you pick the correct location. Since I have special need dogs this was also taken into consideration with questions. Always been super friendly, commutative and willing to ensure equal access as I am Deaf. My only complaint is I wish they had a bigger area for the cats (so I ca bring mine) which is so beyond the workers control.

My girlfriend has brought her dog to this place in the past. After this time he was shaking when we dropped him off. She paid for the suite (which is basically just solitary confinement). As well, she paid for fur connected which I’ll get to later, and on top of that she paid for the grooming service. Well all that together was not cheap. Frankie, the groomer, called her Saturday and said the hair on the dog is matted and that she needs to cut it down low because of that. My gf explicitly said to not shave him down to his skin. Well what do you know… she shaved it down to the skin. But wait… it gets worse! When the dog was brought home, we noticed he has a red mark on his butt from where Frankie made him bleed and didn’t even say anything to us about it. This can lead to an infection so maybe say something about it so the owner is aware in the future. Back to the fur connect thing, they decided they just weren’t going to abide by the contract and send her any photos over the weekend… maybe it’s because they were embarrassed with the skinning job Frankie did😂. Lost a customer. Look at how bad he looks😭 dude used to be cute

As much as my dog and I enjoyed coming to this location. It has come to an abrupt end. My dog was last groomed by Frankee Smith in January. Prior to his appointment, I communicated that my dog has sensitive paws and he does not like for them to be touched. I gave as much helpful tips as I could to ensure he has a positive grooming experience as well for the groomer. After his appointment I received a call staying that Frankee reported that my dog lunged at her and snapped when working with paws. NEVER BIT HER. She provided some tips on how to better prepare for his next grooming appointment. Fast forward to March, I schedule an appointment. The assistant manager calls me a HOUR before his appointment telling me Frankee does not feel comfortable servicing him. Why wasn't this communicated from his last appointment or when I booked this current appointment? So now, I have a dog that will be loopy for next 12 hours for absolutely no reason. The managers solution was to groom him but if he reacts in any way the service will be stopped. So now I have the option a half groomed dog or nothing at all. After speaking to her I do not trust that this staff will handle my dog with the best care. If you have large dog, that can be reactive when uncomfortable, I would recommend that you look into another location.

My dog is very anxious and has separation anxiety bad. I had taken her to another place. They called me within 10 minutes of dropping her off and said I had to come pick her back up. They couldn’t do anything with her. So a year later, I found Pet Paradise I was nervous thinking the same thing would happen but she had a great experience and now she loves going and runs through the entrance. The staff is friendly, nice and helpful. My dog comes out, smelling and looking great. I highly recommend them.
