Pet Supermarket

I just left Pet Supermarket after scheduling a wash and dry appointment for my husky, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing. When I arrived, I was informed that there would be no grooming or blowout service available that day. I understood and agreed that I only needed to wash and dry my dog, which was fine. After washing my dog, I began using one of the dryers in the self-wash area. However, the dryer I was using did not have the nozzle attachment that is typically needed to properly dry a husky’s coat. I noticed another dryer on the other side that had the correct nozzle, so I briefly used that one instead. At that point, an older employee with a bald head and glasses approached me and stated that he should have charged me for using two stations and reminded me that I was told not to do a blowout. What made the interaction uncomfortable was not necessarily what he said, but the tone in which it was delivered. The conversation felt condescending and unnecessarily rude, as if I were being reprimanded rather than simply spoken to as a customer. Additionally, another customer nearby had been using a dryer with a nozzle as well, yet nothing was said to them. My dog does shed more due to being a husky, but shedding should be expected in a facility that offers dog wash and dry services. If dog hair circulating in the area is a concern, it raises the question of why the service is offered at all—especially when many breeds naturally have longer or thicker coats. To end the interaction, the employee told me that next time he would charge me double. That comment felt unnecessary and left a negative impression of what should have been a simple self-wash visit. I’ve visited pet wash stations before and understand the rules, but customer service and respectful communication make a big difference. Unfortunately, this experience did not reflect that.

My family and I have been customers at this store since it first opened and we always bring our dogs here for baths. My mother came in to wash our dog and switched tubs because there was no one at the front desk to ask for assistance. Instead of doing his job professionally, an older employee decided to scream at her for switching tubs without permission. He repeatedly berated her, raised his voice, and spoke to her with a level of disrespect that was completely unacceptable. My mother left so upset that she called me crying afterward. No customer should ever be made to feel humiliated or intimidated by an employee, especially at a business they have supported for years.I would strongly encourage others to think twice before supporting a business that allows employees to scream at and disrespect customers.

Beautiful, absolutely wonderful tanks and husbandry. Slight misidentification on a fish I bought earlier today, but it was a super easy mix-up and I can completely understand. Aside from that, wonderful store, helpful and kind employees, better than bigger pet chains by a long shot. All healthy and thriving fish. The only stores I’ve seen do better are aquatics stores where fish are the specialty. Absolute 10/10, good prices too. Coming from someone as picky and judgy as myself, this is a star among dust.

I got a puppy April 4th 2026. Went before to get her the appropriate food so I bought her puppy food here at the end of March. As I was transitioning her food to the new food I had bought from here she started having diarrhea. I then looked at the food I bought and saw it was expired on March 12 2026. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Recently stopped in for some dwarf shrimp and ended up getting a crayfish instead. The staff were extremely welcoming, helpful and polite from the time I came inside until checking out. They answered all of my questions and I have since gone back a few more times because I enjoy viewing the animals while getting feeders or supplies. The staff seem pleasant with the animals and are extremely kind when I ask for help, even mid-task, which is sometimes not the case. I will definitely come back!
