Me and my son love coming in the store when my dog needs me to restock on his ear medicine/ solution. Well today was absolutely the opposite the old lady dawn who works cashier followed me and my child around as we were gonna steal. Mind you I’m 8 months pregnant with no purse in the store no nothing so where am i going to put stuff to steal. All i had was a small wallet and a toddler who loves animals. (Mind you i probably make more than this lady so who the heak gonna try and steal something out a pet store I HAVE MONEY CLEARLY) I go to check out she doesn’t greet me ask me for my receipt say hello NO NOTHING . HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. on top of being followed around like I’m a little teenager. And i still spent over $40.00 after the occasion. Defiantly made me not want to come back. Maybe if dawn focused more on her job there wouldn’t be so many dead fish in the tanks or animals living in filth!!! Absolutely unnecessary of an experience when just trying to shop with my toddler. I didn’t even get him the fish tank i wanted because all i wanted to do was leave the dang store so the old lady would stop stalking us and creeping on us. Edit: after reading reviews looks like there’s always issues with dawn and people commenting on how rude of a person she is yet this company still keeps her employed there. Such a shame for a customer service business to have someone working for them like this.

My first review was removed BUT I STILL NOT BE SILENT!!!!! I came in August to get shots for my senior cat and get a referral so he could get an eye surgery. He saw Dr.Zavala. They gave me a pamphlet for an eye specialist and claimed they sent a referral, I waited several days and when I called the specialist after not receiving a follow up call. The specialist notified me they NEVER RECEIVED A REFERRAL (they also failed to give a proper perscription, they said they went it to a cvs, when i showed up the pharmacist trying to ask for a prescription for my cat they looked at me like i was insane, so they also failed to even send in a prescription). when I called for an explaination about this I never recieved a phone call or even a voicemail explanation. I couldn't even see the specialist without that referral. We were turned away and because of that i had to start from square one. It cost my 9 year old cat his life.YOUR STAFFS NEGLIGENCE KILLED MY CAT!! Never take your pets here I wouldn't trust them ever. Pictures below are him before his eye lost sight and after. My fur baby is gone because he had veterinary staff that didn't care and were negligent. THIS COULD OF BEEN PREVENTED!!!!

Just wanted to share what a great little outing we had at Petco in Huntersville today 🐠💙 I called ahead to see if it’d be okay for my kids to stop by and help feed the fish, and Titus, the store manager, was more than happy to accommodate. When we arrived, Ashely* greeted us and let us know she’d be helping us out with the feeding. To my surprise, the kids got to feed as many fish as they could before the squares ran out — and they absolutely loved it! Ashley* was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and even helped us with the “adoption” of our newest little family member 🐟 Such a fun and low-key way to wrap up our “under the sea” learning theme from home 🌊 Hoping to go again when the cat center is hope. unfortunately, they were closed the entire time we were there. Thanks again, Petco Huntersville!

Well stocked store with a wide variety of products for different pets. I was looking for some hot spot cream for my cat and I found what I needed after a bit of searching. Parking can be a pain with a smaller parking lot that always seems pretty full.

I went to 2 other pet stores looking for a robust dog bed as my poodle absolutely destroys the bedding material. The dog bed selections were minimal. I looked online and Petco had them in stock. I ordered the bed online which was very simple and the process at the store was so quick and easy. Special acknowledgement to Titus (Store Manager) as he was welcoming and so helpful in the store.
