Pickleball IQ

On December 20th and 21st, I attended a two day camp called Pickleball IQ and Pro Matt Ouano, founder of Pickleball IQ and Pro Salim took us through five phases to set the tone to improve our game. Admittedly, it was a lot of information to digest in two days but I took away some key points in those two days that exceeded what I learned in the numerous lessons and drills I had taken prior to attending Pickleball IQ. I would also note to anyone considering attending Matt's camp that you do not have to worry about remembering everything because Matt has your back, including the opportunity to download the notes from the camp. I certainly wish Pickleball IQ was around three years ago. I spent so much time and money on lessons that never covered what I learned in Pickleball IQ and I would highly recommend his camp no matter if you are just beginning to play pickleball or an advanced player.

I've been taking weekly lessons with Matt Ouano from PickleballIQ for about 10 months now. Right from the start Matt introduced me to a handful of easy-to-understand PickelballIQ concepts that changed the way I thought about the game. I had no background in racket sports when I started playing pickleball, and my technique suffered as a result. What separates Matt from other coaches I've trained with is his ability to pick up on technique errors in real-time, after just a few swings. This talent for identifying errors, in combination with the way he teaches pickleball strategy accelerated my journey from a 3.0 player to competing in 4.0+ tournaments. I highly recommend PickleballIQ to anyone who is serious about taking their game to the next level.

Fantastic experience! Up to this point my main focus in games was to get the ball back and that's about it. Matt and the Pickleball IQ camp gave me a framework for strategy and using each shot for a logical and effective purpose. Once we went through the framework, drills and started games, I saw the court differently. It made sense why I would be in certain situations and how to turn that into an advantage for me and what to do to get each point to an advantage. I'm looking forward to more lessons and another camp! Highly recommend Matt and Pickleball IQ.

Matt is a great coach and friend. He is really thorough and supportive but also tough, which I really appreciate because it means he believes in me and is pushing my ceiling higher and higher. His expertise and keen eye for detail has helped me make seemingly small adjustments that have made a huge difference in my play style and confidence. Matt understands what it takes to play winning pickleball and has the ability to review your game and identify areas where improvement is needed. His clinics and individual lessons can put you on track to become a better player. He is passionate about your improvement, extremely professional, and fun to spend time with.
