Today my wife and I stopped in for a quick bite to eat. She has eaten here before but I have not. As we entered we were greeted promptly with a smile and seated right away. Our server Luke greeted us and got our drink order. As I have never been here before I needed time to look over the menu. Luke was patient and accommodating. We started with the Soup of the day and the Kick’n Chicken Tacos. The tacos were amazing. My wife’s soup came out piping hot which is nice, most places seem to send out like warm soup. After deciding I got the Big John Sandwich with grilled Chicken and my wife ordered the French Dip Burger. Both were delicious. We were checked on by numerous employees who made sure we were having a great experience. We can’t wait to come back and try some other things.

Tried Pinky’s for the first time while we were out of town for a concert, and it was such a fun experience! The atmosphere was super cute and lively, which made it a great spot to hang out. We had a couple of drinks, and they were all really good. For food, I got the Pinky’s burger and it was delicious! The pimento cheese on it was phenomenal and really took it to the next level. We also ordered the fried pickles as an appetizer, and they were some of the best I’ve had. The ranch that came with them was amazing too—you can definitely tell it’s made in-house. On top of everything, the service was great. Overall, I’d highly recommend giving Pinky’s a try if you’re in the area!

This was the third restaurant I’ve been to that’s been featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives — and hands down, the most fun of the bunch. Pinky’s Westside Grill is just an all-around blast. From the tiki-bar ambiance to the little surprise touches (like the video volcano that “erupts” and “rains” with atmospheric lighting shifts), the whole place leans into fun in a way that never feels forced. It’s the kind of place where you can’t help but smile just sitting down. Now the food? Outstanding. I started with hush puppies that may just be the best I’ve ever had — crispy, golden, perfectly textured. And then came the burger: I went with a “build your own” in the Pterodactyl size (single patty) done “Ding-Dong Style” — crunchy peanut butter, cilantro-honey slaw, and sriracha. Sounds wild? Maybe. But the flavor balance? Spot. On. No regrets. Just bliss. And even though I no longer indulge in alcohol, their mocktail selection was a welcome surprise — fun, tasty, and clearly made with care. A lot of places don’t even try in that department, but Pinky’s delivers. If I could give this place six stars out of five, I would. Between the vibe, the creativity, and the incredible food, this is a must-visit spot for anyone in the area. Can’t wait to go back.

I just ate at this Pinky’s on Gilead in Huntersville location as it came with a lot of high praises and recommendations. I was feeling a good burger so I ordered their double patty with American Cheese and onions (American Cheese is the best cheese for a cheesburger because it melts without splitting IFKYK) and waffle fries, simple order. When the food came it looked good, bit into the cheesburger and it was scalding (no points deducted here) but delicious. I took a few of the waffle fries and thus was the problem, the waffle fries tasted and felt old. It wasn’t hot, and the texture was a texture the majority of us have had which is day old french fries from anywhere. I gave a few more waffle fries a try to see if it was just a bad fry and it was not. The burger was delicious and hot all the way to the last bite, but the waffle fries were cold and tasted old from the get go. It’s tough because if the burger was good, and its partner, the fries weren’t, therefore it took away from the deliciousness of the burger every-time I went to grab a fry. The staff were great, super friendly and they rotated amongst themselves and each one was great. Atmosphere was unique and different. Their menu was plentiful including some non meat options. Parking is easy and ample on Monday for lunch.

I was really disappointed with my recent visit to Pinky’s Westside Grill in Huntersville. I ordered the wontons, and they were hardly stuffed with any pimento cheese (less than a teaspoon full). It was mostly fried dough, and it honestly made the dish un-appetizing. You can see in the photo how flat they are. I’ve heard good things about this pinky’s, so maybe this was an off day—but it definitely wasn’t a great experience for us. Typically we dine at the one in Charlotte off of freedoms drive. They have the wontons stuffed perfectly there. From now on I will drive the extra miles to dine at the one in Charlotte because the quality is top tier. If you are wanting to try Pinky’s especially if it’s your first experience I would suggest going to the one at 1600 W Morehead St, Charlotte
