Publix is known for its mantra “Where Shopping is a Pleasure,” but unfortunately, our recent experience with the bakery for our wedding cake was far from a pleasure. I initially ordered and paid for our cake over the summer and worked with MaKayla, the bakery manager at that time. She was wonderful, attentive, detail-oriented, and reassuring. She documented everything carefully and instructed me to touch base two weeks before the wedding, which I gladly did. Two weeks before our event, I learned there was a new bakery manager, Shanae. Over the phone, she noticed we had selected a custard filling and kindly advised that custard can shift if left out too long. Because we wanted the cake displayed all evening and didn’t have refrigeration available, we were very grateful for that information and changed the filling. Up to that point, the communication was helpful. However, every interaction that followed with Shanae became unexpectedly unpleasant. When I called the week before the wedding to confirm details, she was short, curt, and clearly annoyed that I was following up, even though this was a major life event for us and a considerable purchase. On the day of the wedding, my fiancé stopped by the bakery while we were picking up ice for the reception. He checked in simply to confirm the 2pm delivery. A team member went to ask Shanae, who had her back turned working on paperwork. When she realized what he was asking, she slowly looked over her shoulder, visibly irritated, gave him a side-eyed glance and silently nodded. No greeting, no smile, no reassurance, no “congratulations,” no “thank you for your business.” Just clear annoyance that we had asked about the cake we had entrusted them to make and deliver for our wedding day. We fully understand that we may have followed up more than a standard order might require, but this was our wedding... a once in a lifetime moment and we simply hoped for professionalism, kindness, and hospitality. Instead, we were left feeling like an inconvenience and completely unappreciated, especially given the $550 investment and the importance of the day. Because of this experience, I cannot recommend this Publix bakery location for any special occasion or significant life event. While we appreciated the early guidance on our filling choice, the overall customer service fell far below the Publix standard we have always known and respected.

The flow in this store is something... People are going in every direction, and everyone, and no one has a right of way... A little too much entitlement and attitude for me The staff is Great! The store is stocked, and we found everything but one item. And a substitute was made from the available choices... Parking was good, and space was close enough (for a Christmas eve!) This Publix is my closest option, and serves me well for last minute, must haves...

Twice now I've had items in my cart that were listed in the store as BOGO but did not ring up that way. Both times it was told to me that it didn't show up on the app so they couldn't give me that price. Last night no more than five minutes after getting the items that had a BOGO sign, they don't ring up and they don't show up on the app. The person bagging says they will go check and take a picture. They come back with a picture of no sign and the items row cleaned up like it was neatly stocked which was not the case five minutes ago. They are dishonest about this. I do not care if your employee's forget to take the sign down. If it's listed when I pick it up it should be honored like it has been in every other Publix I've shopped at. I don't need to steal a $5 item and don't need to be treated like I am either. I understand we all make mistakes some time but this wasn't that. Since I'm complaining, your produce section aslo sucks. Most of the fruit is or will be over ripe before I make it to the car. Last night was the last time I shop at Publix.

Cleanest grocery store I’ve ever been in 5 STARS! Staff is really helpful. Guess what… THERES A BAKERY! The bakery workers are helpful. Lots of food and drinks to choose from. You can buy beer and alcohol also. There are some toys and pool stuff also. I give this Publix 5 stars!
