Sacred Heart Dermatology: Blake Sanders, DO, FAAD

My initial visit to Sacred Heart Dermatology was remarkable. The staff at the office exhibited exceptional courtesy and professionalism. Dr Sander demonstrated extensive knowledge and attentively addressed my concerns. He dedicated ample time and was meticulous throughout the process. I wholeheartedly recommend Sacred Heart Dermatology. It genuinely deserves a 5 out of 5-star rating.

I had a great experience at this dermatology office. The office was very clean, and the staff were kind, professional, and efficient throughout the visit. Dr. Sanders had an excellent bedside manner, took the time to listen to all of my questions, and offered thoughtful and helpful solutions. I felt well cared for and would definitely recommend this practice to others.

So happy to have found Sacred Heart! Our pediatrician recommended the office/team to us and we couldn't have been happier. It was super easy to get an appointment for our whole family at consecutive times and during our visits I felt really heard, all my concerns and questions were answered whereas before I have been brushed off. The entire staff was friendly and attentive! After 8 + years of dealing with an issue, our doctor took the time to ask questions, look and figure out that I had misdiagnosed. He came up with a treatment plan based on my comfort! Our toddler keeps asking to go back, which I think says a lot.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Sanders for nearly two years. He initially diagnosed me with a rare autoimmune disease and was helpful at first. However, over time, his guidance became inconsistent. He told me I would need treatment for 3-5 years initially, then 2 years, and most recently said 18 months is standard in dermatology. He frequently forgot my medication dose and prior changes, often asking his assistant instead of me. At one visit, he advised reducing my dose, but at the next appointment did not recall that change. In January, we agreed I could trial stopping the medication, but at follow-up he again seemed unaware of that plan and immediately suggested reducing the dose. He did not ask how I was feeling or involve me in decisions about my care. He also dismissed my reported side effects, suggesting patients often attribute unrelated symptoms to medication. After my last visit, I decided to stop seeing him. I left the appointment in tears. Later that day, his assistant contacted me, not out of concern, but to inform me my prescription had been canceled.

Dr. Sanders is the best. Skin cancer runs in my family and i have so much peace of mind knowing i have him and his office in my corner to help keep me safe and cancer free. Highly highly recommend
