Safe Harbor Westport

I have stored here for +10 years over two different times living in the area. Five different boats. Pros: Great dock staff, clean & easy in / out. Cons: charge you a fee to have professionals work on your boat, the app that they request you to use is pretty bad & office personnel is disconnected

I knew renting a boat would be fun, but it really ended up being the highlight of our week in the LKN area. Everything from booking the reservation online to returning the boat at the end of the day was easy. All the marina staff we encountered were great. The only small issue we had was that the life vests that came with the tube rental were size adult small, so a few of us weren’t able to zip them. But they still kept us afloat. Definitely recommend these folks for a memorable day on the water!!

I cannot say enough good things about our experience here at Safe Harbor Westport. All of the staff in both the office and in service are amazing! They’re always ready to jump in when I have an issue with my boat, and they do really good work at fair prices. They’re also incredibly kind and helpful when any issues arise. The dock hands are fantastic too. All in all, this is my first time storing a boat at a marina, and it has far surpassed all expectations. Corey, Matt, and the rest of the team have been incredible!!

I recently had my boat serviced at West Port Marina which is part of Safe Harbor Marina. I first spoke with Kris, a Service Advisor and knew from the onset, I had found the right place. She put me in contact with Matt the Service Manager and we scheduled the boat for service. I have a twin engine boat and one of the engines was experiencing problems which made navigating difficult at best. When I arrived, they had 5 dockhands ready to assist with bringing the boat in safely. Matt, and his Chief Technician Chase, looked at the boat and between the two of them, the issue was quickly diagnosed, a detailed estimate provided and the service was completed without issue. Everyone exemplified true professionalism, customer service and integrity. Matt, Kris, Chase and all of the dockhands are first class people who take their roles very seriously and with tremendous pride. From start to finish, this is one of the best experiences I have ever had and they had me back in the water quickly and boat drives like new. Matt even called within an hour of my departing the Marina to make sure I made it back to our slip without issue. If you are looking to have your boat serviced, cleaned, stored or just need fuel, West Port is the place to go. As a business owner, I fully understand how important customer service is today and West Port Marina is by far the best on the lake.

We rented a pontoon boat for the day and had a great time. Watched a safety video at home and relatively easy pick up process. Recommended taking pics of the boat, especially the prop, to protect myself. Boat was clean and ready at pickup. Easy turn on process. Had a great time on the lake.
