Bettina has been doing my hair for 18 years, and I trust her completely with every decision regarding my hair. Over the years, she encouraged me to stop fighting my natural curls and fully embrace them, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. My hair has never been healthier. She took the time to help me understand my curl pattern and helped me find products that truly work for my hair. Every appointment is a great experience, and I always leave feeling confident and loving my hair. What I admire most is that Bettina’s commitment to excellence extends beyond her own clients. She continually invests in her staff through education, training, and professional development, creating a team that is talented, knowledgeable, and focused on providing exceptional service. Jewel was an absolute angel!! She squeezed me in for a next day appointment and worked some magic on my hair—the softest most well blended balayage ever!! Even on my thin fine Asian hair!!! She was an amazing listener and super patient!! And then was so accommodating when I randomly had an obligation right after and was rushing a little!! They also offered to do my complimentary conditioner treatment next time! Will be back soon :)

I left with the best haircut and highlights I’ve had in years. Cat was a fabulous listener, asked me for feedback as she was cutting and coloring, had incredible attention to detail. I’m 52 graying brunette who has gone blonde, she blended it beautifully and naturally. Her cut was just as good, she took her time and gave me shape and texturizing. Overall very pleased!

As the saying goes, “when you know, you’ll know!” I have been through some bad salon experiences since 2020 from Jacksonville FL to 2025 in Huntersville NC. I have naturally curly hair which takes a great deal of understanding to cut properly as well experiencing hair loss due to aging and a recent tragedy. My hair is fine yet have a lot of it so the right (correct) product is crucial. Sanctuary Salon was recommended 2 weeks ago. I called and Logan took great care of listening to my concerns and scheduled me properly. He placed me in the hands of a gem of a gem, Ava. I’m a former cosmetologist myself from the 80-90s, so I’m always on watch especially after having a few consistent bad years of experiences. Those times are gone and I couldn’t be happier with the from the beginning to the end experience with Ava. She is extremely knowledgeable and a daughter of a life long cosmetologist who grew up in the salon. She has a gift! She loves what she does! She has a warm heart and she herself has been through life lessons that had sculpted her into who she is today. Life lessons are very important when working in the service industry. This salon goes above and beyond and I will be going no where else. Grateful for her services and the whole salon experience is how I’m describing my time on 3/23/26. And finally, simply put “I know!”

Ava is a hair-ologist! You can tell she has studied and kept up-to-date with hair care, style, and methods. I have type 2 wavy hair and had no idea what to do with it. I knew I had waves and was hopeful for a cut that would bring out what my hair naturally wants to do. I was blown away and filled with joy after my specialty cut. I learned so much.
