Shampooches Groomery of Denver

I happened upon Shampooches salon the day before my standard poodle puppy, my husband, and I were heading on vacation the next day. I stopped in and explained the situation and ask if they could squeeze in a puppy trim and I was delighted to hear that- Yes, they could fit me in quickly. I was very impressed by the grooming station area and a small clean salon. Several groomers were working on their dog-clients and I could see the patient and gentle demeanor they had with their dog. I met the groomer my dog would work with and was immediately at ease. She answered my questions, was very knowledgeable, and discuss how she would ensure a positive experience for my puppy’s first grooming experience in a salon. I do try to groom my puppy every day to keep her used to the different tools, brushing, and “messing with” the face, ears, and paws that need to go on for groomong needs. I know it is my responsibility as a pet parent to have animals that can accept the tools and work that needs to be done and I also know the Groomer has a 50% input in ensuring a calm safe and enjoyable session with my dog. I want the groomer to be excited to have us as a client, too. I loved that I was notified 15 minutes before she would be finished so that I could head that way to pick her up. I have had experiences where I believe they’ve left my dog in a pet store chain grooming salon. My dog was always traumatized by the time I picked him up. My little girl had such a great experience that we booked our second session in a few weeks. I highly recommend this wonderful grooming salon!

Thank you Shampooches, our 5 month old puppy had her first bath with you today. Out 8yr old lab was thankful to get his ears cleaned, his new little sister loves to chew on them. We were thrilled to try you all out as we moved nearby, very happy and will be back again.

This is our second time coming here since finding this groomer and to say that we’re super happy is an understatement! Our not so easy to groom has been very happy both times we’ve picked him up and that says a lot considering all we’ve been through with him at other groomers! The communication here is top notch and so is the service. Pricing is also very affordable! We highly recommend them for all of your grooming needs!

We drove 35 min to get to Shampooches strictly on reviews. We have a Golden Retriever puppy and we adore her hair so I wanted to make sure it was done right. She saw Dani and we could not have been happier. She looks amazing! People commented on how soft and flowy her hair was. We will definitely go back to Dani in a couple months! We booked a half groom for reference.
