Shop N Save Market

I just moved here from Maine and I live a half a mile from this place. Someone told me that they have the best butcher shop in the area so I decided tonight to try their pork chops. These were the best pork chops I have ever had in my life and the steaks and everything else looks equally delicious. They also have a great wine selection and we tried their dessert from Queen city and that was incredible.. The people who are working here are very kind and helpful and I’m so excited that I can continue to get my protein in the future from this establishment.

I recently bought oysters from Shoppe & Save and they were absolutely outstanding. They were incredibly fresh, clean, and had that perfect briny flavor you want from a great oyster. You can really tell they take pride in the quality of their seafood. The selection was great, and everything looked well-handled and properly stored. It’s not always easy to find oysters this fresh at a grocery store, but Shoppe & Save definitely delivered. I’ll definitely be back for more. Highly recommend their seafood department if you’re an oyster lover!

Cheapest gas in town, I’ve yet to find any one that comes close & i have to get 93 so it’s up over $4 every else. Don’t just get gas & leave, this is a must go in. You will be amazed at everything they have to offer. Local honey, fresh meat, just so much good stuff you are going to wander around.

This place is busy, while there are only a few spots to park in the front, there is plenty of parking in the back. In addition to typical minimart/gas station items, they have great meat, an impressive wine selection and a new milkshake/smoothy maker. AND I just discovered that 'Pie in the Sky' moved in and now you can get pizza here as well. Definitely be back!!!

I was so impressed by this particular business, that I didn't really feel like I could have done it the justice that it truly deserved without having the accompanying pictures to go along with my review. So I turned around today and drove right back up there and purchased 4 one inch rib eyes for the Memorial day weekend. Let's begin with the exterior aspect of the business first. Please be careful turning in, as there are 2 gas pumps in front of the business. A little farther down is the LED sign and the mailbox. There is much more room to turn in on that end and there are 4 more gas pumps on this end. Stepping into Shop n Save is akin to having traveled backwards in time when you are looking in one direction and then turning the other way and are confronted by the most modern conveniences that you can expect to see in a store. I spent approximately 1hour there today and around 30 minutes yesterday. And I have got to say that, what makes it all work and pulls everything completely together...is the STAFF. Friendly, polite and professional are just a few of the nouns and adjectives that I can use to describe the staff and their interactions with each and every customer. Did I mention that this business was absolutely immaculate, except for where I drooled on the display cases...only 1/2 kidding. All of the homemade jams, jellies, sauces and rubs. The honey, the abundance of freshly picked fruits and vegetables. Then you have the fantastic display cases, that are filled with seafood, pork, chicken and beef. Every single and/or special orders cut to your exact specifications. It's absolutely worth the drive. And this specific review is perfectly timed for this Memorial Day Weekend. But please remember what Memorial is... A remembrance of all of the Veteran's, both men and women who have paid the ultimate price. "All gave some, some gave all".
