Doug is a savior! I didn’t think that my swing would get any better since I THOUGHT I had tried everything. Doug, with his expertise, dissected my body structure and swing, then boom - immediately made corrections! The eye opening necessity to use your wrists in the golf swing was something I never really focused on. “Catch the ball, throw the ball” - that’s the recipe! The Spencer Golf Academy is a wonderful place to improve all aspects of your golf game. Doug’s knowledge of the golf swing and how the body works for different people is incredible. When I first arrived I got measured to see what direction we needed to take for my swing. The results were amazing. I struggled for 3 years and with great appreciation to Doug has helped turn my golf game around. He is eager and wants his students to improve which he shows in his work ethic. I have been working with Doug for the past several years and my progress has been great. We have rebuilt my swing from the ground up. Doug and his academy have been an incredible asset to myself as a fellow instructor but even more so as a player. His knowledge is beneficial to players of all skill levels.
