Steven's Country Store & Butcher Shop

Wow, just wow! Purchased $170 standing rib roast 12/23 for Christmas dinner ~3pm. Pulled it out the fridge Christmas day ~4pm and meat was not good. Refrigerator works perfectly fine; no issues with any of our other meat or dairy. Pictures speak for themselves. Called down and left message Christmas day, xalled again on Friday no call back. Finally got a hold of them 12/29. Tried to resolve and just wanted a fresh cut of meat and not a refund. Steve argued for 10 minutes and was very defensive saying the meat was fine when it left. No resolution met.

Great place for local meats. I feel welcomed everytime I stop in. Friendly staff and atmosphere! The meat as always been great. The chocolate milk is amazing as well. I highly recommend this place.

A treasure for sure...so many s.all production items from spices to sauces and local made candies and treats. The owner/ operators are very friendly and helpful with deciding what to buy. The meats are phenomenal, my wife noticed the difference in color over grocery store meats immediately. Having just moved to the area from Virginia we are happy to have found our new favorite shop for everything we like. If you live near or just passing through, dont pass Steven's Country Store & Butcher Shop without stopping in. Can't wait to throw these bone in pork chops on the grill !!!

I've been searching for a Butcher in the Lake Norman region and two days ago I found "My Butcher"!! I walked in blind from my search, the first words I heard were "welcome to Stevens". Everyone there couldn't have been more pleasurable to speak with. Very helpful in every way possible !! The 4 Ribeye cuts that I received from Stevens Butcher were equivalent to 21 day dry aged beef !! Unbelievably flavorful and tastaaay !! The cuts were Tender, well marbleized and melted in our mouths. Hats off to you , Butcher crew, at Stevens Country Store and Butcher !!!!

Stopped by on Valentine’s Day and picked up 2 of the biggest, baddest ribeyes I’ve ever had! This place is a cute little country store out in Mooresville that sell homemade jellies and sweets too!
