Finally tried this ice cream place! They have lots of the classic flavors and three experimental flavors right now, which were so good (cinnamon toast crunch 🤤, Andes mint, and lemon bar). Cute picnic tables, cornhole and lights make this a perfect summer staple. If you’re in the area, it’s a must try!

After a long ramble in nearby Abersham Park, we walked over to Summit Creamery on their last day of the season. Friendly service and very creamy ice cream. Less than a dozen flavors, but the quality was incredibly good. One of the best chocolate ice creams I've ever tasted. The waffle cone was also really good. Lots of picnic tables and play activities and chalk for the kiddos. They had a bubble machine that day in addition to music for a fun vibe. About 3 miles from downtown Davidson. Highly recommend and we'll be back next season. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 stars

Summit Creamery was at our end of Summer party in our subdivision here in Davidson, and I had an opportunity to try with my neighbors and family this ice cream. I grew up in Detroit and our family owned a grocery store with an ice cream section. After decades of trying all kinds of brands in big cities and small towns—it’s that homemade creamy flavor that wins in my opinion. Some are truly better than others! Hands-down, everything we tasted was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend a visit to try for yourself! Josephine Local Guide

They are lying about allergens. Their dairy free ice cream uses real butter. It's literally on their ingredients list. I'm not sure why they list it as dairy free, despite explicitly asking and then verifying. Thankfully my spouse doesn't eat milk by preference (vegan) instead of having a dairy allergy. This place can kill people with dairy allergies. After looking at the label again, it's also not gluten free which is crazy to me because this can also kill people with Celiacs. I'm really not sure why it's sold as gluten free and dairy free when it's neither of them? EDIT: To the owner's response, I can't trust you. You could be telling the truth; you could be lying. I can't tell because I have two labels from you and one IS wrong. At this point it doesn't really matter which because I can't trust you to do a good job because you have already proven you aren't tracking this as well as you should. I don't want food from people who are paying this little attention to is preparation. It calls into question how sanitary your kitchen where this is prepared too. This is a serious mistake. Personally, I think you are lying to hide a mistake. Everything else on the label is specifically dairy free except one additive. This wouldn't be a label for a dairy filled ice cream from a past season like you said that was accidentally used. How could you edit off ingredients like real milk cream but miss the giant bold text warning of milk content. It has ingredients specifically for non-dairy ice cream except 1 purchased ingredient.

Delicious and out of the box flavors. Nice outdoor seating area with room for kids to play with some outdoor toys. Free sprinkles for the kids and decent prices especially for the quality. Fave flavors were honey lavender and berry pie
