THE GREEK

Our first visit to The Greek, and it definitely lived up to the hype! Having grown up in Detroit enjoying some of the best Greek restaurants around, we were excited to give it a try. My husband ordered the traditional gyro with beef and lamb, while I customized a protein bowl with chicken, rice, chickpeas, the popular Greek sauce, and tzatziki. Everything was fresh & flavorful. Of course, I had to try the baklava—it's just what you do after eating Greek food! I was happy to learn that it's imported from Greece, and it was really good. The perfect sweet ending to our meal. We also had the opportunity to meet the owner, Steve, who was friendly and welcoming. We complimented him on how spotless the restaurant was—it’s clear that he takes great pride in his business. This is a fast-casual Greek restaurant that is worth a visit! We'll definitely be sharing this gem with our neighbors and look forward to returning. Good times!. Great food! Nice music. Lots of choices to put into the bowl. The gyro is really good. We will have to come back soon. Can't go wrong eating here!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you’re looking for really good Greek food in the Mooresville area, The Greek is absolutely the place to go. From the moment we walked in, we could tell this place takes pride in what they do. The restaurant was very clean, well organized, and had a great welcoming atmosphere. The food was outstanding. I ordered the Lamb Gyro, and it is an absolute must-try. The lamb was cooked perfectly, full of flavor, and paired great with the fresh toppings and sauce. You can really tell that all of their ingredients are fresh, which makes a huge difference in the overall taste and quality of the meal. My wife ordered the build-your-own bowl, and it looked just as amazing as it tasted. Everything in the bowl was fresh, colorful, and packed with flavor. It’s great that they offer the option to customize exactly what you want. Another thing that stood out was the customer service. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming from the moment we walked in. It’s always nice to see people who clearly care about their customers and the food they’re serving. Between the great food, fresh ingredients, friendly staff, and how clean the place was, it made for an all-around great experience. We will definitely be coming back again soon and will be recommending The Greek to friends and family. If you’re anywhere near Mooresville and want authentic, fresh Greek food, do yourself a favor and try the Lamb Gyro. You won’t regret it!

Let me put it this way,… it’s not often I write food reviews but when I do it’s because I’m planning to go back (again and again). The Greek brought me back to memories of when I worked in Manhattan and frequented the best Greek street vendors for lunches. Think of the most savory bite after bite of fresh lamb, pork, chicken and beef all in one gyro (they call it the Zeus). The flavors just all hit on spot and the result is nothing short of the best Gyro I’ve had since my Manhattan days. Coincidentally I was back in Mooresville the next day and stopped in for another item on the menu that caught my attention - The Notorious PIG. Another flavor bomb of tendon pork and barbecue. Insane. Portions are impressive. I did not leave hungry in either visit. I’ll be back. The service is quick and friendly. My wife has celiac and ordered the Zeus complete with a gluten free wrap. She said it was refreshing for someone with celiac to assure her it would meet her strict requirements - including that she should eliminate the beef from her Gyro because the seasoning on the beef wasn’t GF. That’s an impressive attention to detail. I’d give this place 6 stars if it were an option and I’ll be back again! What a pleasant new addition to Mooresville and the Lake Norman. They did not disappoint.

12/10 would recommend! The food was delicious and flavorful, portions were hearty, and the staff was very inviting. The owner took time to talk with us and gather feedback on our experience. We finally have a new restaurant to add to our rotation!
