Beautiful grounds and wonderful cabins for owners. I can see why there’s a waiting list to get in.

Hours after our mother passed, their employee dedicated to help walked in and bluntly asked how’s everybody doing as if it were a social call. Restaurant mostly staffed by despondent teenagers (liable to gang up & threaten you) — in keeping with a clear aim to maximise profits for investors. It flagrantly maintains non-profit status hmmm

Absolutely disappointed! We were looking into the long term nursing care option for my grandmother who has brain bleeds, stroke, heart issues, and speech issues, and unable to do anything for herself. We were denied for financial reasons although we had almost 5 years of funds available. The amount of money this facility requires to even accept patients is mind blowing! Very sad, & unfortunate!!!

I have been an independent living resident at this CCRC for the past 6 years. It is a wonderful place because of the friendly, interesting residents and the thoughtful, caring staff. With Davidson College here in town we are able to take courses, attend productions, and enjoy college sports in addition to activities here at The Pines. I couldn't have chosen a better place to live out my remaining years.

Wonderful retirement community with very helpful staff. Highly recommended.
