The Pool People

We used The Pool People for 13 months and unfortunately we did not have a good experience. We are a business ourselves and to write a review on a business we only do in extreme cases like this. Not only was our pool not cleaned, we lost large amount of revenue because they could not get it cleaned (we are an Airbnb). They are very good at making excuses on why the pool can't be clean (even though it's been perfectly good for prior 2 summers). On their recommendation we replace equipment ($5k), cut down trees ($6k) and did everything in our power to make it work. Prior to writing this I communicated clearly our expectations and instead of an apology we were attacked and threatened. The owner threatened to attack our business online if we shared this experience which is the reason we are going public. Tim is a bully, offensive and unprofessional. UPDATE: Owner failed to mention that he said "I will say the threats of strong armed online presence goes both ways, please keep that in mind as someone who runs an online booked business." Even though the owner offered a small refund, we refused after his threat of coming after our business. Instead of apologizing for not cleaning the pool week after week and charged us $1100+ in April and $500 in May. Picture shows pool when it was cleaned and only a couple hours after they left. This happened every single week. The first month the pool never was clean. Only after 4-5 weeks the pool wasn't filthy.

Great Conpany. They take care of everything i need. Always on time. Always friendly. My pool looks great all year. Would recommend to anyone.

Unfortunately we did not have a positive experience with The Pool People this summer. We bought a house with a pool mid-June and were looking for some help to open it up immediately after closing. We contacted pool people and were able to get on the schedule no problem. However, we experienced multiple appointments being cancelled with just an hours notice. If it was a one time situation then I could understand, but this was a pattern with a different excuse each time. When we contacted the company about our frustration we received an extremely unprofessional response from the owner stating that he has over a hundred clients they are trying to get to and it’s not his fault we decided to open our pool late. I can understand being busy with other clients but if that’s the case, I would appreciate my time being respected by not scheduling us when you can’t make it or letting us know you can’t take on additional clients at this time. Additionally, the pool was never opened properly in the couple visits they were able to make and we were given false information about our salt water cell. Overall we were extremely disappointed and would never consider using the pool people again.

What can I say short of Amazing! I was stressed due to working with my pool contractor for over 8 months and my hot tub was not keeping water properly and pool looked dirty from white plaster. Tim came in same day (within an hour) to out my mind at ease. He, corrected all my settings and had a tech to clean my pool all at a fantastic price! I’m relieved and extremely grateful. He actually took the time to educate me on pool maintenance. Great guy! Great Company!

Tim and his crew continues to impress. I scheduled them out for a pool leak issue. While speaking with Tim, I immediately knew they were the real deal with experience behind them. He taught us so many things about our pool that we couldn’t have learned in 10 years of pool ownership. Tim mentioned they also offer the service of pool maintenance and cleaning. We couldn’t be happier with our decision to try them, our pool is always clean now and even if it looks like it doesn’t need vacuuming they still vacuum it! I would highly recommend both The Pool People!
